Love this location. Everyone shoots there but I never tire of looking at the light on the mountains, buildings and water. Infinite possibilities.

I don't know how to thank you enough for this. My wife and I will be visiting Scandinavia for the first time in June 2020. But at the end of the tour in Oslo, we will fly to the Lofoten Islands for the main purpose of visiting Reine. I've had that iconic photo of Reine on my wall for 30 years. I only recently discovered that it was Reine. It was taken during one of those calm days so the reflections off the water are there. I'll be bringing my new camera, a Sony a6000, that I used for the first time during a trip to the Balkans a few months ago. I noticed that you use it too. And thank you for pointing out the best photography locations.

Hello Mads. Looking forward to a trip in May. Depending on budget, it’ll be either Lofoten, Faroe Islands or Skye in Scotland. The overall trip will be 8 or 9 days so as to have at least 5 days on the spot. Your videos continue to be inspiring and your e-book is a clear, concise and practical course on Composition. One again, many heartfelt thanks from a 70 year-old fledgling landscape photographer.

Hi Mads, TPE is a great program (I had been using their desktop free app) but I recently bought photo pills and it is more rich in features compared to TPE. They have versions for both android and iOS and it is worth the price. They also have articles and videos to help people learn how to use the app and you can save the info of whatever you are planning to shoot in the planner. in this way you can have the information with you in the form of a photographic journal.
@MadsPeterIversen6 жыл бұрын
Yes I know about it - it just doesn't have the 3D feature which I talk about in the video ;)

Is a telephoto lens, say 70-200mm, or 100-500mm useful there? Thanks.
@patricebonnin6117 Жыл бұрын
Hi Mads, still a great video, I am revisiting your Norway videos and Lofoten in particular because I am planning to visit Norway this summer. My widest lens is 24mm and I am struggling to complete with a widest one, I have the choice between a 16mm (16-50) and 14mm (14-28) but with complexe filter system (no thread for a filter system), have you an advice for me? the 16 is more versatile so I have more chance to use it on a regular basis but.... By the way I followed your masterclass last summer, that was great ;-)
@MadsPeterIversen Жыл бұрын
16mm ought to be enough for Lofoten. But if you already have a complex filter system the more with you have between your lenses I'd argue the better :)

Hi Mads, So I have a question you can hopefully answer. I already have the TPE. Is the TPE 3D different? If so, is it a separate app, and is it worth getting? I saw that it is an additional 11.99, which is no big deal price wise, but wanted to make sure it was worth the extra cost. thx
@marieta.s6 жыл бұрын
I would advise you to check photo pills. There are versions for both android and iOS. It has way more features than TPE and in my opinion it is really worth its price. They also have articles and videos to help you learn the features of the app.
