All these fancy looking knots but pound for pound and simplicity/ maximum breaking strength. The "Grinned" or "Uni" knot will always be no 1 👍🏻 Keep it simple people, it catches more fish 😉

Fantastic knot it spreads the load nicely I just tried a break strength test by hand and is as good as untied line.. Remember guys the knot u tie gives a physical angle difference and its this physical angle that creates the weak point

@@ennossaldana9480 hola buen día, mira aki en mi país en México le llamamos destorcedor en otros lados le llaman kita vueltas, pero en realidad sirve para k la línea de pescar no se enrolle en si misma ala hora de enganchar un pez sobre todo si son peces k saltan ala hora de sentir el anzuelo y así evitar k se rompa la línea de pescar.

@@ennossaldana9480 perdón por la tardanza, los k se utilizan para señuelos ya trae un seguro eso los puedes pedir como destorcedor con seguro ya vienen de fabrica, ese lo puedes amarrar del destorcedor y el seguro lo pones directamente en el señuelo. Y listo.

I use G Man Swindles knot,he is a bass pro and you go double through hook then wrap double around the main line 4 times then the double through the loop, leaves you 3 tag ends a double and a single. he swears by it and I tried it and it is the best I have seen good luck

Great knot for thicker line but try that with 6 to 8 pound mono and itll just weaken the line. As it heats up from being pulled even if wet. Now braid works great.

It’s a lot easier if you go through the eye of the hook and back through the opposite side then doubling the line through the eye of the hook

Looks like it would be a very strong knot. Maybe stronger than the Palomar? I'm going to try it. Looks like there will be less line waste than the Palomar when tying large lures.

this knot has been around for big salt fishing. only thing, it's missing the most important part - bimini twist knot loop. once tied, this is used to attach hook, swivel, or lure.

If the fish you have hooked up breaks your line no knot is going to prevent this happening, its purely to prevent the line undoing during heavy tension.
