They love God and love serving, but it's draining work to be on the front line where spiritual warfare is strong. Sounds good to say that you enjoy ministry, but that leaves the impression that it's easy. Fulfilling I can grasp as you see ppl becoming rooted and grounded in their love for Jesus Christ. Many ppl fill out forms, but are not being discipled to develop true lasting faith in the Gospel. Numbers influence us to believe he's successful, but lets have fruit that remains. Right, isn't that what we're after?

Children of God, one thing that i have noticed is that the more the Church ignores the Holy Spirit, the less powerful it becomes. It becomes just an organized moral institution. Get the Holy Spirit; get the power!

Oh, what is powerful is growing in Christ Jesus, becoming holy as God is Holy. Studying the Word of God to show yourself approved of God. The Holy Spirit is not given to us for power. Jesus tells us the ministry of the Holy Spirit for us. To council,guide, convince of sin, rightousness and judgment.To lead us into all Truth, correct us, bring us godly wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and insight. This is what scripture says about the Holy Spirit. The power is not why the Holy Spirit was sent. If we don't know the real purpose then we will look for experiences rather than a seeker of God's face and rightousness. God is interested in our dying to self, walking in Truth, not be of the world tho we are in it. Getting excited about power is not on God's agenda.

Correct,we are taught in scripture to draw our strength from God the Father,Who He is in His faithfulness to us. This Holy Spirit power is not where we draw our strength from. Nope, not His purpose. The annointing that comes for us to be effective in witnessing, preaching, teaching,is from the Holy Spirit, but it's not power, it's life being given to our words that will reach man's hearts.

Actually an annointing doesn't get thick. Never heard Jesus say anything like that,or,no other apostle. It's disturbing when words like that are used to excite the ppl. Pulling words out like God approves of them. Do you notice a pattern? Bonnke is more about signs and wonders. The comments are mainly exalting Bonnke or being excited about power. Where is the weeping that comes with godly sorrow? Stop fooling yourselves and get busy studying the Word of God and knowing how to answer when an unbeliever asks about why you believe, how do you know who wrote the Bible, how do you know there's a God,why does a loving God send ppl to hell? Are you going to show them signs and wonders? Are you going to tell them about power? Or will you be equipped to know how to answer questions that will bring them to faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Then they must be discipled to have a firm foundation so faith can grow. Would you be willing to take such time and patience? Then let it be God Who acknowledges you, not man.

Wow! Excellent! I wasn’t expecting to agree with you . Love that “You don’t need to squeeze the Holy Spirit, He’s right her with us”. I think that’s one of the most empowering things you hardly hear, and is the primary teaching of the Holy Spirit in the New Testament. If you’re a child of God you are in-dwelt by the Holy Spirit. A constant abiding helper. John 14,15,16,17 🎯 Meditate on that, and feel your faith grow like crazy.

+kouakou Firmin I recently had a dream, which I believe to be from the Lord Jesus Christ. In this dream, a young girl, a follower of Jesus Christ, perhaps around 7 years old, prophesied that God was sending a baptism in fire. She may have actually said a baptism with the Holy Spirit or even both. I cannot remember precisely what she said, mainly because I did not record the dream down soon after receiving it, but it was either one or both of these. The young girl prophesied this with such conviction, knowing that what she was speaking was true and even soon to come. In another scene, which was part of the same dream, I saw followers of Jesus Christ in Germany, calling out to God with one voice. They were doing this inside a large building, which seemed to be more like a large convention centre or rental space than a "church" building. I myself live in BC, Canada and have never been to Germany, nor have I had much of any plan to go there someday. In this large building, God's children, followers of Jesus Christ, were passionately calling out to God with one voice. Through the Spirit of God, with hearts SO FULL of faith, they sang out to God in one accord, requesting Him to "Baptize us in the Holy Spirit, Baptize us in Fire!" These words came out of their mouths to the tune of the song with the same lyrics. As they continually lifted this prayer to God, I sensed that they were SO SURE God heard them and that He was about to answer this request, either in that very gathering of His people or shortly after. God's children, through the inspiration of His Spirit, have been calling out to Him for a long time for such awesome baptism's to take place worldwide, but in this meeting, it was like His children knew that this was the final cry before it was released. The time had come and they knew it. Inspired by God's Spirit, their cry was sincere, full of expectation and offered up as one. I believe the timing of this gathering was revealed to me in the dream as September or October of 2015. I know of one gathering taking place in Germany around this time (October 2015), which I believe the Lord has great plans for. I believe this because I was actually at a previous gathering with God and His people in Edmonton, AB (August 2015) that is directly connected with the upcoming "Global Gathering" in Munich, Germany and it was incredible. God did many awesome things there, such as restoring the body of Christ in Canada and around the world, both younger and older, to walk together as one, as a family, rooted in the love of our Father God. At one point in this gathering, God's people were crying out to Him to have mercy on us, which included on ourselves, our blood relatives, our spiritual family (the body of Christ) in Canada and around the world and also on the nation of Canada specifically. After crying out to Him from our hearts, God confirmed to us that He had heard and answered our cries by sending 2 rainbows over the city of Edmonton right as we were crying out to Him. This caused many to deeply rejoice in God, as we knew by the Spirit of God that this was not a coincidence. I personally cried like a baby, but with tears of amazement and joy. Praise the Lord, for He has done great things and GREATER things yet shall He do!! Our dear Father in Heaven, we call out to you, the great and awesome God, and ask you to bless the nation Germany and all within it. We pray that YOUR Kingdom would come Father and that YOUR would be done in Germany, both in this upcoming "Global Gathering" and in any other gatherings and things that you desire to do there. We ask you Father to baptize your children in Germany in the Holy Spirit and fire! In Jesus name we ask this Father. Amen! To God be all the glory for this and all good things, for every good thing comes from Him! He loves us so much and is calling us to Himself, to know His love and reveal it to others. Therefore, may God supply each of us the grace we need to seek Him with all of our heart and love Him just as He loves us, perfectly! If you agree with this request to God to supply you His fullness of grace, simply say, "Yes God." Amen!

As most Americans I respect Reinhard Bonnke speaking the eternal blessings of God toward those who trust God's promises, whether baptism of the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking or the salvation of the soul. Every person genuinely placing their faith in Christ as Lord and savior receive a new moral nature as they make Christ Lord of their decisions to live righteous, holy lives, that are pleasing in the sight of God. I like the fact that you mentioned God's promises. Within the last few months I applied the "spirit or principle" of James 1:2-1:8 to preparing myself for a Godly relationship. During this time after my initial water baptism 7 years ago, I also truly started to just get into the word.The relationship did not work out but I committed myself fully throughout it. After the breakup I received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire, I also received spiritual gifts again that I lost as a child 30 years ago. Read the Bible, study it intently, pursue your hearts desire in Faith, watch it manifest, and receive the Holy Spirit and seal to God.
