This is clearly the Braulio Estima inverted triangle, with the exact same setup! Even after winning adcc with it, this move didn't become that popular and I almost never saw it again. Congrats Incredible finish!

It never became popular because only super lanky people can pull this off. The average-height person does not have the leg length to cinch that triangle.

For how short this fight was, I say this is the best match for De Ridder. For the first time in his career at ONE, someone challenged him and almost beat him in his own game, regardless of the fact that the big scare at the beginning of the match was more of his own doing. He kept his cool, and managed to turn the tides and turned what could've been his first and fastest defeat, into the fastest win in his career. As for Bigdash, I think that guillotine attempt gave him a false sense of confidence, making him think he can out-grapple De Ridder and beat him in his own game. If he played it safe and got up after escaping that Kimura I reckon this match would have gone longer. Much credit to him though, he managed to give De Ridder a proper challenge, and forced him to take things seriously, and showcase a higher level of grappling than in his previous matches.

When Reinier managed to remove his trapped right arm from under Bigdash i knew its was over. It was a gamble and sometimes you win but alas it wasnt to be. If Bigdash managed to maintain that posture ensuring Reinier's right arm remained trapped then he would be the winner. I dont know how he managed to get out of it but he did it and that's what makes champions, kudos Reinier.

For sure he's been practicing a lot how to overcome choke. But the most fascinating about RDR is.. No strikers Has been successfully Strike his chin and wobble him.. Never watch a fight that RDR got rocked and wobble... He always has a way to avoid big punch to his chin .

Bigdash first surprised his opponent with an unexpected move. De Ridder then surprised Bigdash and spectators how he managed to change things around and choked out his rival in a spectacular manner. With his rare talent and skill, I believe de Ridder would defeat Arjan Singh Bhullar in the Heavyweight division should Chatri Sitiodtong bravely endorses this fight.

Buchecha is the only one who’s gonna be a problem in that weight division. Arjan bullar only knows ground and pound and it is sensibly the same for the others. At this weight they got more power so ground and pound is enough. It really looks possible for RDR, and he is more goated if he can do it.

Bigdash did not expected that it was an inverted triangle choke because he was there at the top and not inverted in position...he was surprised by that wise move from the bottom. Good job to DRD. ...but to Bigdash, He better stay away from his opponent after he escape the Kimora attempt, and fight on his feet with great cautious on the take down. If given a chance for a rematch i believe better defense and double cautious will happen. Surprisingly amazed on it, great job RDR...be humble

Bigdash has spoken too much before this fight and has been roughly beaten whitout break Rieder’nose and even finished the first round! Riedder had still a bad look after the win to his opponent. It’s not his habit. I guess he was very happy to punish him so quickly and to show him how he is definitely superior. His anger was still inside him.

Bigdash was shocked here, he could have jerked his hip and pivot over de ridder’s head just to neutralise at least or create a space for his neck. Just a little bit to adjust the neck… I could not do it if I were in his place, but through constant practice maybe bigdash could do it next time. Still respect for ridder. He is great
