Thank you so much for making this. When I typed in my search terms earlier I thought "like hellam I gonna get a leather boy in a well produced video whose gonna teach me how to make pants into chaps with my sewing machine" and how fantastically wrong I was. I'm so happy! Great job!

@@REISSUED Amazingly. It's a more work then i realised of course, but I'm not scared. If I can do this successfully a few times I'm really looking at making my own upcycling brand. You may spot me on the internet at some point in the future as BERLIN WORKIE or something like that

@@REISSUED I tend to try and reuse denim as well But would like to see more options for other worn clothing items like t shirts, terry cloth towels, or even tips on tailoring if thats part of your knowledge

@@sum12sumwhere I have a upcycled t shirt video... maybe it would be fun to make a robe out of terry cloth towels!

TBH at first I thought it was going to a disaster, but the end product was quite nice. I would wear them since I don't have leather chaps which I've dying to get. Congrats...👍👌

Thank you so much! Yeah leather chaps are awesome but I'm finding these a lot more wearable in day to day life.

Great idea! I would've styled them with leather-look leggings (less bulky). They'd also be great with a denim motorcycle jacket and muir cap.

The leather chaps would fit better in the thighs if you weren’t wearing pants underneath. Of course, that will limit the places you can wear them but that’s half the fun.

They would be better kept as denim, but worn over leather jeans. We did something similar for added heat protection on our legs when we were burning the stubble and you can imagine how guys reacted when the frays on the denim caught alight and we just slapped them onto our leather jeans to put them out. 🔥🔥🔥 Fortunately, from working on the farm we had asbestos hands. 😃
