Except when it’s meaning and truth itself. That’s not really a person though... so yeah. Listen only to people who genuinely want to make you be the best you can by giving you the freedom and truth you need for your highest purpose. Let’s not forget that often times people vote to take away their own freedom and rights... they get boiled away slowly “boiled frog syndrome”. There is no freedom without truth.

Dude all you do is uncreatively copy and paste quotes from others. Why not come up with an original thought/idea instead? Your channel must not really be "thought provoking ideas" if you can't be creative enough to come up with your own while spamming the comment section for subs. Super gross.

As a child I was always being commended by adults as being the most mature kid they knew simply because I was always taught to follow orders without a question, but I’m 19 now and I’ve come to the realization that people will use you if you don’t question authority. I just wanna know why people have to feel like they have power over one another like why can’t we all work together as the human race? The things we could have accomplished by now would be immaculate, my insides twist just thinking about how much of humanity has been taken advantage of

It’s incredible that psychedelic users come to the same conclusions and heed the same messages from the wise mushroom with no pre-knowledge of ideas regarding dissolution of institutions. I had a 6 hour trip that painstakingly dragged me through the motions and essentially taught me what this video so eloquently presented, but on a more visceral experiential level. It still makes me sad how the death train is full speed ahead and will likely take down even the most enlightened of us. Stay safe awakened ones.

Some people prepare properly and are in good head space and environment and then make the mistake of taking a "heroes' dose" or more and the experience is so intense and challenges their current paradigm to such a degree that they develop a fear of the experience. I have some shrooms right now that only take a cap and stem to have a nice experience. Started off as 7 grams of dried mushrooms and I have used them like 5 times since I got them and I still have a dose left. And I am an experienced psychonaut.

I was born with autism. As a result of my autism (especially during my elementary and middle school years), I escaped so much of the mental conditioning that was poured upon us over the years. As a result, I developed my own profound and deep insights into existence, the universe, and the true meaning of life. Looking back, I am very thankful and grateful for all of this (despite the other frustrations and challenges that having autism brought me).

Everything he was explaining 25 - 30 years ago is what has happened to the world. When he said if we do not stand up and howl, reject authority it will be to late. Well we are living in the what he predicted because we’ve allowed the control to persist. Being awake and being woke are two completely different things...

I met T Mckenna the year before he died. We sat next to each other on a long, red-eye flight. Already a fan of his work, in all humility, I tentatively started a conversation. He jumped in without hesitation. It turned into a marathon all-night alcohol-fuelled idea orgy as we hurtled through the darkness. Absolutely fantastic, fun and unforgettable. We both lived in Hawaii at the time and he invited me to visit him and his partner when we all returned to the island. I so wanted to, but sensed he was completely exhausted and running on fumes, and felt it was more important to give him space to finish the book he was working on at the time. I don't think he knew yet that he had a brain tumour, and when I heard months later, my heart fell. I knew the odds, and felt the bitterness you experience when the very people we need are taken too early. I'm so grateful to see him live on, disembodied, online. I suspect he would like it. The dissemination of radical ideas like his, the anti-Zuckerberg, the anti-Thiel, the anti-Bezos, the anti-1%, are I hope, utterly unstoppable. Rest in ecstasy Terrence M!

I’ve noticed recently that the people that I look up to and learn the most from now, as opposed to the past, are the ones that basically say “I still don’t know everything, I have a lot to learn, we are all figuring this out.” There is something about being humble yet hungry to keep asking questions that are much better qualities than someone who puts on the mask of knowing everything. We are all here to improve ourselves, while not stopping anyone from being their most authentic self. The wise Ram Dass says “We are all just walking each other home.”

Its as simple as afterskool having a bigger audience than whoever was promoting the other. If this was put on some other very popular channel it could get a million views in a day. But views arent really that important considering that more than half the viewers aren't paying attention, but instead simply seeking another distraction. IF it was just 100,000 viewers but people who were truly paying attention, that could really mean something.

This is a sad realization of how people have been programmed to accept their lot in life such as to forgo their creativity, uniqueness, and passions for others to exploit. You are used as a pawn to benefit the greedy.

That's only if you see it through the victim lens. We are autonomous and we give our autonomy away to gain something. If you can heal this attachment wound in yourself and help others heal it too, we'll have change. If there's something you don't accept in the "greedy people", there's something you don't accept in yourself. Rejecting the drama triangle of persecutor-victim-savior and embracing full responsibility and ownership of your life is the way to autonomous life.

When I first started exploring psychedelics I would feel almost “bad” for taking them even though I was using them safely and to heal. It was other people’s opinions that I was holding onto. Psilocybin helped me let go of those thoughts that weren’t mine. And helped me help myself without the use of any substances or escapisms.

I could however see how lsd would be somewhat of an escapism but holy hell shroom trips are like ten years of therapy packed into a few hours. I come out feeling stronger and ready to face the world. Substances like opioids only made me retreat and numb everything. That to me is a real escape. It again there’s nothing wrong with escaping the world every once in a while. Everything is balance.

Ghoul Hunter I agree that animal agriculture is wrong. It is horrible to think how humans in “civilized” societies can just go and buy a dead piece of animal to cook for their family. But eating meat is a part of human nature. I’ve been vegan for a long time but it was not fulfilling for me. I began to feel like shit when I was vegan. I respect people that are vegan but it is not practical for everyone. It’s ludicrous for someone to say a certain diet is the only way for everyone to eat. Humans have been hunting since the beginning of time. It is very easy for modern humans to be able to be vegan because we can go to the store and buy all the vegan foods we want. But it is not practical. Modern farming techniques are just as bad as modern animal agriculture. Mass farming is a heavy pollutant with all of the fertilizers that are used to produce the fruits and veggies. Let alone the amount of animals that are killed and chased out of their territory to create farmland. If we didn’t have these bullshit societies, all remaining humans would all be hunting and eating meat. Just because we have been taught by society that death is a bad and horrible thing doesn’t mean that it is true. Death is a part of life and should be treated with respect, not just ignored and try to get rid of it. I agree that killing mass amounts of animals is wrong but only because it is done for profit. If humans have the guts to go and kill another animal and skin it by themselves I do not see a problem with that. As long as the animal that has been sacrificed is fully being used and not wasted. But most of the people nowadays do not have the guts to go and kill an animal and skin it by themselves because they have never been in a situation where their hunger has driven them to that point because they can just go to the store and buy it. I’ve read about the benefits of being vegan but it did not work for me. Everyone’s body and dna is different and reacts to the food we ingest differently. There is no one diet that will work for everyone and it is a personal adventure to go out and see what diet works best for them. My little cousin was born with seizures and was placed on a all natural keto diet (mainly elk) and the seizures went away. I think the biggest problem is that the animal agriculture is pumping these animals with fake hormones and people are ingesting these half fake meats like it is real meat and wonder why they have so many health problems.

Authority doesn't "own" anyone... Authority tells you that you can't kill another person, it says you can't rape someone just because you "feel" moved to do so. We need those rules to be able to live our lives. Without authority, anyone is free to steal your property, rape you, and then beat you to death on a whim. You can't have anarchy nor can there be government overreach and still have a free society. There has to be a balance.
@Pysco-yz3dw

Oddyssey that is not a argument. Freedom is freedom. If you don’t want to be harmed you need to be able to protect yourself. It’s foolish to rely on a form of government to “save” you from things that you deem as bad. Good cannot exist without evil and evil cannot exist without good.

Terence did an amazing job radicallizing the individual and guiding us to the deep end of the transcendent experience. But he never offered any integration back into society. He never encouraged people to take responsibility for their own lives, families and communities. He never admitted that we should do our best to value the positive aspects of modern society! Maybe that wasn't his mission, but today I understand how radical he really was.

There's a lot of emphasis on our society in establishing nature as wild, something untamed, dangerous even. But I really do think that rhetoric is simply a way of disconnecting us from ourselves and making us feel content living removed from nature. I love the quote because it is a reminder that we are the water, the wilderness, and the seashore. When we go out in nature we go home, not somewhere wild, not somewhere dangerous. I think experiencing the ease and beauty of this planet reminds us why we came here, and that is to experience all that life has to offer. The flow of nature makes us look inward for that flow in ourselves and sends us on an effortless journey back to oneness with all.

It's not enough to "wake up". In my opinion, there is one thing that is way more important. We have to stop suppressing our children. That'S the root of the whole mess. We suppress them in your age and therefore teach them to accept our authority and authority in general. So they are already suppressed before theyr real-life even starts.

I really like how you always use Sauron as an analogy for the system we currently live under, since he actually controlled the minds of his servants who served him out of fear instead of free will, poisoning the earth with his malice and his ambition to conquer everything and all free people.

"Trust the experts" they told us in 2020, and although it is quite clear that the experts know nothing much, it is absolutely forbidden to question them or government authority. This is very typical of our society. So tragic that nowadays nobody seems to have enough self esteem to admit failure or not-knowing anymore. We life in a narcissistic, perfectionist culture and people are under much pressure to seem just perfect. Underneath, there is a lot of insecurity and anxiety, which makes them try even harder to overcompensate with a polished, superficially-perfect "I have everything under control" attitude. And everyone knows that everyone else is just pretending - so that everyone lets everyone else just pretend in order to not be found out themselves. If you are the one to stand up and say "Oh, hey people, I think there is something wrong here", you are very quickly turned into the outcast. Tragic. In a narcissistic society, learning by failure is no option, because failures should never be admitted. Where did we go so wrong? I think a lot about this. Reading Daniel Quinn's Ishmael makes me think we as humans were indeed doomed by knowing (=eating from the tree of knowledge), because knowing made us anxious, and since then we try to control things. What we call civilization is in fact a monstrous construct for controlling nature, and worse, ourselves! We humans are the only species on this planet that enslaves itself! We are not allowing ourselves to just take a day off lying in the beautiful sun when we feel like it, because "we need to" work, most of our lives! This is insanity. The need for control and perfectionism undermine our authenticity and our happiness, and will bring us down as a species. The 2020/2021-crisis is the epitome of this development and we'll see if we can overcome this great obstacle to human development. If we do not, I doubt that mankind has a chance to survive much longer on this planet.

I needed to see this. Everyone in 2020 needs to see this. Peaceful protesters, looters, Trumplicians, Antifa, Proud Boys, "Karen's," and all in between. 1984 is here, and it will only get worse, UNLESS we reclaim our power through humanity, individuality, and compassion! Let's do it; be part of the solution!
