The starting party should all be bald bearded aestetic men. If it has not been said so already, in the future, you can have a drafted colonist tend to another colonist on the spot (vanilla) so long as the wounded colonist is themselves drafted or incapacitated. Just select the rescuer, draft them, right click on downed or drafted wounded pawn, then choose treat/tend. It also helps to have every colonist carry medicine in their inventory. This can be done in the assign menu

Just came to say, colonists got double passion miners aren't smart, and two got crushed by mountains, and their bodies were mushed and unrecoverable, and the rest of the colonists all went crazy cause they were never buried. Love this game!

Oh my god, i was looking at the workshop 'cause you've once again instilled a rimworld urge into me and there's a mod, "Say that again", that lets you press backspace to have the bring the last dismissed message back up again and it's the most amazing thing i've ever seen, and i figured you oughta know if you didn't already lmao

A trick to make it all easier on the colony would have been to build a bridge they would favor while putting another along the nothern route around to the eastern entrance, where you can set up another killbox, keeping the old one as a backup.

Initially when the thought came to mind I dismissed it as silly but the more I thought about it the more it sounded like a fun colony. What if you built fight club ideaology as a colony? Colonists could have some kinda mood debuff if they haven’t fought someone in a day or 2, social fights are considered a valuable part of life and social fights almost always end with the 2 pawns feeling like the fight was cathartic but your colony values melee and feeling intense pain

Greetings! just leaving some recognition for your work... it's not been long since i found your channel (nurse's fault) havent played and not interested on playing rimworld... however i enjoy watching your videos, i leave your vods on while i work. That was great. BTW does anyone know a proper way to abandon a colony? I'm a little worried this may happen to me one day, or I may try to make a ridiculously hard playthrough... where I might need to stay on the move. Can you leave in the direction you want somehow?

I know you don't do tutorial vids, I just mean like do you have any content that would be good to watch for a new player to get an idea of what good gameplay for a newbie would look like? I've been watching your adventure's of Anton Chigurh, and I know in that you said a newer player wouldn't be playing like that.

Okay history lesson (and please don't ban me youtube) the whole "Caligula fiddled while Rome burned" is a play on words to describe him playing with himself while Rome was burning to the ground (which some people believe he ordered bur that's whole other story). Fiddles weren't invented until the 1600's, Caligula was killed jn 24 AD. He also wasn't in Rome at the time of the fire. Was a total bastard tho

I always just have really narrow hallways with some 2x2 rooms so I can stuff in a melee guy in heavy and then i can have 3 ppl just point blank shooting... cheesing the mountain life but meh rinworld cheats constantly.

I tried to play this game in permadeath mode, since I played with max stat colonists, but it's just not happening. I know that it sucks to reload when something bad happens, but some stuff just makes no sense. I had colonists die at random and for no reason and I think it's bullshit that the game just destroys an advanced, expensive prosthesis like an archotech eye, just because the operation failed. Like I had an 18 medical colonist install an archotech leg under good condifion, like, clean environment, good bed, darkvision eyes and it failed five times in a row. Like, come on, game. A prosthetic leg should not be immediately destroyed, just because the doctor failed to install it, that's nonsense.

This is unpopular opinion I know, but after trying out vanilla expanded-mods they add nothing of value to the game imho. Just endless amount of clutter and meaningless shit. Functional trashbins are only thing I like about them and in the they are nothing but "spend small amount steel for not having to have your pawns clean"

Normally I love your work, but this episode was a bit... accusatory/a bit hostile? The small rant about how you stopped longer series due to annoying comments from your own viewers, the prod against other rimworld content creators "devolving into explaining things" and using to much mods, so on, so forth. @@NinjaOnANinja However you also might simply not understand what was going on and what he ment. The colony was most likely getting destroyed anyway because of the big infestation. However a last attempt to scale into the late game might be the only chance (although I don't really see how). but having the rec room destroyed would slow that down too much. If you disagree with some someone that isn't the same thing as them lying.
