What was said at the start really is true we have no hard times, we have no reason to stay strong and yet this could be the reason for this being the hardest time in human history, to stay strong while others succumb to stagnation and weakness is possibly the most important thing we can strive towards as humans being not just to save our societies but are very humanity.

It’s really not that hard to remain strong in this era, go get your head beaten a few times at the boxing gym philosaboo. Comeback to me once you’ve gained the guts to do a bayonet charge against an opponent pointing a flamethrower at you and worse.
@DanielJoyce2 жыл бұрын
Everyone missing the point... You stay strong not because it is needed but because it is good in and of itself. The Greeks argue your body has the ability to be stronger so it is wasteful to not realize that potential the gods gave you. Being strong doesnt need to have a purpose outside of being strong itself. Same with your mind, you ability to appreciate art or food, etc. Squandered potential is in and of itself wrong.

No matter where we come from. At the end we are all the same as long as we embrace masculinity, power, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, greatness, glory and choos to remain pure and noble. No amount of values can bridge the gap that is to be born with a different soul/spirit. Each race, civilization and even clan, has their own biospirit - one that informs both the broader and the subtler focus of the vision with which they paint their worldview. This does not mean that these differences makes us enemies - but they do not make us the same, and insofar as these differences are complementary, we can collaborate in separated coexistence. Insofar as these differences are cause of friction and conflict, we must fight out and let the trial by the divine nature of existence itself grant the victorious their continued shot at reaching eternity. War, conflict, bloodshed - none of those are bad. They reveal the true nature of the world and its inhabitants.

When I was in Highschool, I discovered a new way of living. We were young, and experienced more freedom than our parents at the time. We spent time playing, partying and taking alcohol and tobacco, even drugs, and flirting a lot. For me, it was a good thing, because it was a reward of the work we had been through during the year. But for many of my pals, it was already a way of life. Being "cool" by partying all the time, smoking, drinking, and having multiple girl/boyfriends, and cheating. I saw Modernity, the future we are curently living in, and I knew, at that time, that I will never follow it. I've had already rejected Modernity.

Everybody in these comments thinking being masculine means getting swole and fighting half naked and half couldn't name the core tenets of 'masculinity' in various cultures which are often radically different. In Greece the ideal man was strong of body, could discuss philosophy and politics, appreciate art, was never the bottom in a homosexual relationship where he was a junior in age, had a small penis, never overindulged in wine or food. In Rome is largely the same because they stole a lot of stuff from the Greeks. But to do most of these things of course required money or some amount of power. 99.9% of the Greeks or Romans were poor farmers. Every poet hoplite in Athens WA supported by 100+ farmers. Just like Musk's Twitter popularity is supported by thousands of basement dwellers. That said the Greeks had the notion of Agon and Arete and so many would recognize a Potter or farmer doing their best as being good and worthy too as they are making the most of what the gods gave them in their own way. If you consider strength as relating only to muscles or martial prowess you're gonna have a bad time. Alexander the great didn't come from Sparta. The weapons that won WW2 didn't arise in a Prussian military academy. An Athenian wouldn't look down on the dude who invented Greek fire because he wasn't swole enough. We got good at sinking German U boats because Hollywood starlet Hedy Lamar and her composer helped develop frequency hopping torpedos.

What are you on about Sure many here may mistake the notion of masculinity to be just as limited to being swole but not community is making that to be the case Also justifying certain acts present in certain cultures as representative of masculinity as a whole is not the way to go either What was accepted in Rome or Greece only began to trickle down and change as timed developed Aka masculinity is not the same as is en certain parts of Europe or Africa or Asia The degradation of masculinity is the degradation of culture,intellectualism,creativity and englightenment Not just about being swole and no one is making that case either

The only critic I have is that it seems like the message is that men need war to be complete. I don't think that's the case, we need a goal to strive for and challenges to make us grow, but that doesn't have to mean conflict with each other. A scientist working to end a plague, a scholar seeking the wisdom of ages past, an astronaut seeking to explore the stars, that's more masculine then just fighting, as the others will help everyone, not just a few. Seek to defend yourself, not to harm others needlessly
