@@momentmal5248 Maybe, maybe not. there is a saying "after enlightenment chop wood carry water", which means that nothing changes after the so called enlightenment. Again, if there is only the Self, than rejecting is an activity of the Self. Obviously the Self likes to recect, otherwise rejecting would not happen. Only from the point of view of the seperate Self, rejecting is a problem. For the so called real and only Self (Brahman) rejecting is not a problem...it is a part of play in the play of Leela. Sure Eric knows better.

You misunderstand if you think nothing changes after enlightenment. Due to rejecting and denying, much suffering arises too. That is all activity of the Self. But you can choose to look, see, and dispel ignorance...which would cease resisting and denying...which would cease the resulting suffering from arising. So you can suffer or you can not...choose. Either choice...it is as the Self chose. For whatever you choose is exactly what Self chooses as you. Enlightenment (which requires ceasing to reject and deny) and the cessation of suffering also happens and so this too is something Self wants. Put it this way...Self is playing hide and seek with itself. If as a seeker you say, everyone is hiding...then I too will hide...what happens to the game? Part of the fun is the finding, but finding must occur as well. The hiding, the seeking, and the finding are all activities of the Self...so why favor just the hiding because that is what everyone else is doing. It would be incorrect to assume that this means Self wants everyone to hide and so there is no seeking or finding. Likewise just because rejection and denial of Self is wide-spread, it would be incorrect to assume that Self wants all body-minds to do so.

@@NondualityChannel Thank you Eric for your detailed explanation... and Yessss... you hit my mark with the sentence "what happens to the game?". I have been playing backgammon for 50 years. Many thousands of hours looking for the right game. I am European champion...but there's still room for improvement. Yessss, finding is fun, but seeking too. But yes, I see your point. Hiding, seeking and finding, all an activity of the Self...so why not finding ?... ))). Thanks for helping me to finding it....and All The Best I have to laugh.

Just realize who/what you really are and then such questions cease to arise. See/taste Self directly and then you will know.
