As an employee @ dollar tree, We can not accept more money than needed or it will off balance our register and we would get into trouble for it. If you hand us a $2 for $1, we NEED to give you the correct amount back. If our till is off balance by more than $3 dollars, we get written up. We get spoken to and we get retrained. So please, don't do this again.

Bunny Rawr u can do this without getting introuble.i had customers that didnt want change back or just gave me too much so i use that on others that needed it.and my till always came up fine.its always nice to help others

i get what the problem is,,,it's that the product gets registered in the computer and if u payed more than what the price is on the product when the money gets counted if it's more than the total, it might get someone in trouble, it might seem someone overcharged a client

Many times the manager or often district manager will text the manager on duty for any info they need or questions about what’s happening during their shifts or sales update now days they all text each other instead of calling unless it’s an emergency or a conference call with all the store managers in that district. Also could be family and/or kids trying to get ahold of her.
