It doesn't diminish the virtue of women to acknowledge how it began. Satan always uses what is good to corrupt it into the bad. He saw Eve's qualities as weaknesses. But truly they are a women's strengths. He just knew how to corrupt and had malice intent.

The first saint of our Church is the good thief, Christ by His loving gaze and humility from the cross converted him, whereas the learned scribes who adhered to all the laws and tenets refused to acknowledge their fault for two reasons. 1. Lack of humility, 2. Lack of genuine prayer life before God with humility, Father , everyone jumps at only sexual sins, completely omitting Jesus' warning about the sin of wealth, that is sins of omission, the Parable of sheep and goats talk only about the sins of omission. Even the upright rich man who approached Jesus refused salvation by the love of money. Most western christians living in wealthy countries and leading a consumeristic life, doing tokenistic charities now and then, are in greater danger of losing the Heaven by the sins of omission. Hence your preachings should be like the early church fathers who said, whatever excess you have, rightly belongs the one who is a have not. Anything become excess when your needy or poor neighbour doesn't posses even that . Pl. discern.

I miss when traditional priests focused on giving sermons on how to become holy rather than dissenting. How could a well-formed priest claim that the Holy Father gave up his role as teacher or claim that a magisterial document was not protected from errors on faith and morals? During a time when the hierarchy claims traditionalist circles are preaching anti-Vatican 2 sentiments, traditional priests double down and insult Vatican 2 all the more. No offense, but homilies like this make me question if the Holy Father's concerns about the traditional movement were more accurate than I originally thought. This sermon is scandalous.

No, you yourself are being offensive, my Anonymous friend. I know this priest personally, and he is not an inflammatory schism-monger who is waiting for his next chance to gainsay the Pope, as you seem to imply. FS is the real scandalous thing, here. The Pope is called to confirm the faith of the brethren, and he is unfortunately allowing confusion to reign under his watch. Personnel is policy...look who our current pontiff keeps near him as his advisors. It speaks for itself. A sermon like this is painful to give, but necessary. *So many* people are considering leaving the Roman Catholic Church because of PF's actions. Many have already left. This sermon and others like it are far from scandalous -- they're *necessary*...to encourage us to keep the faith and not jump off the Bark of Peter.
