@lazarus39569 ай бұрын
Me too. When listening, it makes me feel how absolutely hopeless and in despair we would be without Him. We would simply die and vanish into oblivion... And then to think, that with Him comes all hope in the world. And that all this hope in the world came into this world in the form of a small baby, lying in a manger. Not through a powerful army of angels, but through a small baby... I still cannot fathom it, but I know it is right. It can't be otherwise...

What about Islam? They also believe in Jesus and Mary... Quoran says God is 1. And can do everything. He send Jesus to the people. And Jesus did all the mircales by God's will. Perhaps a great prophet of God?

@@AG-wb3db Allah said he is the father of no one , yet Jesus calls God Father? Jesus ask to be worshipped as His Father is worshipped , clearly He is not a mere prophet. What prophet would dare say your sins are forgiven ? What prophet would dare identify Himself with the attribute of God(Mark 14:62)? Muslim did not believe in Jesus , for you believe in a different Jesus. Your Jesus/Isa is incompetent, think about it , he got his book corrupted , his follower misguided, and many more things. To think about it your God Allah is really incompetent huh, his 2 previous ummah gor corrupted and the final and 3rd ummah is killing each others.

@@AG-wb3db Jesus is not a mere prophet. His followers testofied that He is Son of God, who was crucified and rose from the dead. All three of those things Islam rejects. Saying Jesus is a "great prophet", or that He's "Word of Allah and a spirit from Him" saying that He and His mother are sinless, or saying that He was someone who did miracles by permission of God (not "will", implying that He has an inherent ability to do them), isn't enough. Not "He is the Life," but simply "He is Life." "He is Life!" I am a professional translator with a Harvard degree, 66 years old almost, and I have always been amazed by the oddity of the KJV Bible translation: "I am The Way, the Truth and 'the' Life," when the correct and only logical English usage - consistent with the precise meaning of the Greek koiné original - has to be "I am The Way, I am Truth and Life." Not "the" Life (as in "I am living the life!" which means some specific kind of lifestyle, like a Keto diet, or a spa vacation, or whatever) but LIFE ITSELF, all of it. "Jesus, the Word, is Life!" Life itself! Please remove the unnecessary definite article "the" from where you have it in this translated ode to the Resurrection of Lazarus.
