The #whitesox 3 game win streak came to end to the red hot #minnesotatwins who have won 8 in a row. #garrettcrochet got back on track and looked much better, striking out 7 in 5 innings. #andrewvaughn had a pair of hits and the Sox jumped out to an early lead. But, #carlossantana tied it with a 2-run shot. It stayed that way until the 9th when #byronbuxton led off with a double and eventually scored the winning run.
#kap wants to know what #chrisgetz’ plan is for the Sox? Running out a bunch of journeymen isn’t selling much to a fanbase that deserves better.

It seems like their plan is a Dollar Store Theo/Jed plan of taking a shot on vets who they can flip at the deadline for young pieces to a team in contention. The only problem is, I don’t see a lot of contenders clamoring for Robbie Grossman and Tommy Pham come August. As a Cubs fan, that’s what it seems like to me. Just very poorly executed.

Here's the plan. Chris Getz is busy turning all four minor league teams into baseball winners. He's assembling a massive amount of veterans that he's going to trade at the deadline to acquire even more top prospects. Next year, we are are going to have all members of the very good Birmingham Barons team plus Colson Montgomery, Crochett, Fedde and Leasure and we will be in the playoffs. Learn the game of baseball.
