Meet Kamson, formerly known as Lady Tasha, born Grace Gathoni, opens up to Reke Ciume Na Ene about her humble beginnings and life struggles. Once the wife of renowned singer and dancer Kanda King, Kamson reveals she was born in Nyandarua but later relocated to Huruma, Nairobi, where life was tough. She even spent part of her childhood in a children’s home and, out of desperation, got involved in crime at a young age-carrying guns for criminals to afford medicine for her late mother and brother.
In this candid interview, Kamson shares her incredible journey into the entertainment industry, evolving from a dancer to a reggae artist, and now a Kikuyu music sensation. Though hesitant at times, she opens up about meeting her ex-husband and hints at what led to the end of their 20-year marriage. Did she really leave him for another man?
