Jashn-e-Rekhta, a 2-Day grand Urdu Festival celebrated by Rekhta Foundation (www.rekhta.org) on March 14th and 15th at India International Centre, Delhi.

I can listen to Javed Saheb forever. His wit, his humour makes his point of view even more relevant in these times of distress for language and ones view point. I read Tarkash when I was in college first year. I am 44 years old now and it remains one of the most impressionable poems in my conscience. Thank you rekhta for making this happen. +Saeed Ahmed All the grammar and composition of Urdu comes from Sanskrit. If you replace the vocabulary of English language with Urdu and start calling it Uinglish then it won't necessarily become a new language. Urdu is a stolen language. The actual language is Hindustani.
