The city’s gonna need to call in a forestry service camp crew or two before this thing g is done. Maybe with a bulldozer and a couple front end loaders. But I’ll tell you after my experience in northern Baltimore County I’ll never forget that crackling sound As long as I live.

Outstanding footage Skylar. I had a bad feeling that the fire would reignite. They need to bring in heavy equipment to move the burnt areas so that it won't start up again. It may take a day or two before it's completely out. Have a great day my friend, and stay safe ❤️🙂⚘️🚒👨🚒.

Class A foam and some good hand crew work will do the trick. Request mutual aid from state forestry or USFS
@SkylerFireАй бұрын
Ok.
@hosedragger-204Ай бұрын
My thoughts exactly. Call in mutual aid from an out of area department that has the proper hand tools for Wildland firefighting. Must be that FDNY forgot to cover Wildland Fire control ops in the academy. Here in Vermont, it's mandatory for ALL firefighters (full time, on-call, and volunteer) to receive a minimum of 9 hours training on Wildland Fire Control as part of their training to obtain Firefighter 1 certification. Which is funny to me because here in Vermont, most brush/Wildland fires burn an acre of less.
