Girls in Jaswantgarh, a small village on the outskirts of Udaipur, are allowed to express their dreams through art during a unique initiative by Vikalp Sansthan.
In December, Vikalp Sansthan initiated a wall painting project in Gogunda block, Udaipur, involving girls aged 10-18 from Jaswantgarh. Supported by their encouraging principal, the girls embraced the concept despite their initial unfamiliarity with arts programming. Through workshops centered on dreams, the girls visualized their futures and transformed seven school pillars into vibrant representations of various professions, including teacher, lawyer, and doctor.
The painting sessions created a serene, focused environment as the girls immersed themselves in the creative process. More students joined in, contributing to painting, mixing colors, and cleaning brushes. The excitement grew as the girls realized their artwork would adorn the school walls. This initiative not only introduced them to art but also empowered them to dream and envision their future careers, bringing immense satisfaction to Vikalp's representatives.
