Support role is especially easy to get diamond with because you don't even need have the basics in check. But generally speaking though, Diamond is obviously not that easy to get since only a very small percentage of players get there.

lol exactly... that Sylas play was the biggest prank especially, Riven and Nami played decently, Sylas pressed some buttons on people who were low and running away. The only real "giveaway" is Rengar dipping out mid with 10 hp from his jungle into the entire enemy team rather than walking through his jg/top.

For example, in the Zed outplay, Master yi is going to his krugs on spawn ignoring the mid fight, which basically automatically puts you at high plat minimum. On the play you're talking about, blue side has baron buff and mid inhib, and yet purple side is still pushing mid to river. This macro decisions basically caps the elo at P4, then the mechanics seem ok so you get the gold-P4 range.

Everyone can make a bad or good play, a diamond can make a silver play, a bronze can make a gold play, but it's about consistency. One good clip or one bad clip doesn't mean anything.
