We can't get others to notice things (that we see clearly) until they're ready to listen to their own gut feeling - no matter how much we want to help them. You're learning to recognise the pattern and unfortunately that means some relationships doesn't pass the gut test. Also don't be too hard on yourself for acting out of defence - that is a reaction of the abuse aimed towards you. I want to show people grace when they're in pain and have a reaction to that pain. I think you should have some grace towards yourself in that sense too ❤️

Hey Tommy & Reece - replay crew. I have been away from a bit but the crap that people do to squish others up to themselves is more than triggering. Be it on line or in person, it is cycle. It takes more energy to hate than to even be neutral. It has been triggering because it is what i grew up with and it makes me unable to trust. I ended up in "the cult" because it was the fake friends and love. I had enough grounding to get me out. You are standing up for yourself and discussing. I remember joining RR because you seemed like a person it would be fun to have as a neighbor. I remember joining Tommy's channels because he reminded me of the person who was always real. People say stupid stuff to bring people down. You guys have easy to see real love and literally share - like sitting at a coffee shop. I have friends that could not be in the same room together because I have my own relationships with people. So - ramble ramble - protect yourself and then move along. Remember - people show themselves. Why are haters staying on feeds just to spew? Because they can hide behind it. We are all messes in our own way, but how do we grow? By making mistakes, growing and using those lessons to move forward. We fall down, we slide down the razor blade of life, and we walk on broken glass. Tommy is a great example. Remember-if you don't grow, you are dead. It takes more energy to hate than love .... and sometimes friendships can be renewed with the growth on both sides. I don't know you or Tommy personally, but you guys seem like people I would love to have as Real World friends because you guys are real about your faults and we grow. Enough - ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ here's to being the wonderfully flawed because perfection is over rated. Love you both. I actually needed this video today. 1:19:39 Reese, I stepped out of the live last night because (1) my opinion that parenting, not movies, is the issue was kind of pooh-poohed (and in my defense, I had a stressful day dealing with a toxic person so I was probably oversensitive) and (2) some if the comments were veiled political statements/questions that were ticking me off (again, oversensitive). You know where I stand with the sh*t slingers. If the puppet master is who I think it is based on some hints you have made, I've already unsubbed from that person and don't watch his/her videos any more.

I was born in the early 1950s. How did I get to be this old??? Anyway, I grew up with those "perfect" family sitcoms and all the Disney movies. Luckily, the late 1960s and the 1970s came along with Women's Rights & I was a Hippie art student in college & learned to think for myself. Built quite a successful career in retail through my own hard work. Had a man I worked with tell me I had way too much testosterone for a woman when I was arguing with him. I said Thank YOU! and walked away. I was told I was tenacious (one of the best compliments ever) and a brassy broad. It was nice when a man was around to share my life & I now enjoy a loving relationship built on our mutual respect & love for each other. Stay strong Reese.
