I love how I see something new when I look at my chart and listen to you. I don’t understand much of the terminology, but what’s really interesting to me about this discussion is that I’m a Virgo sun, and the person I’ve had the most intense bond and the most soul growth with, is a Pisces sun. We’re opposite each other on the wheel, both at 11 degrees. 11:11, he’s made reference to the whole awakening thing, and acknowledged that we are “hinged at the soul.” Another thing I find funny is when we first met, I had a pair of boots that he dubbed ‘Centaur’ boots. We shared a photo of a half man half horse and it became something that took form in various ways. He’s also Sag rising. I knew nothing of mythology as it relates to astrology, and he dismisses astrology in general. My Pholus is in the 5th house, Chiron in Aries 6th, Saturn in Taurus 7th. I have empty 1st and 8th houses and a loaded 12th. I’ve never looked at his chart. It would be fascinating because we’ve both been so psychic, while not fully knowing we were until we look back. Apologies for the long post but this has been quite the journey, and I’m at a major grief point atm. I said to myself last month, he’s not a mystery to be solved, but discovered. I suppose that’s the hard part, when you have to just let it be. Thank you so much, Molly. From the bottom of my heart. 💜

An empty house means no struggle? Never heard that before, as the reverse logic of struggle in occupied houses doesn't add up either. :) It means your energy is naturally elsewhere, and the empty house still has potential and areas of growth that show up through progressed planets, house ruling planets, and transiting planets. You may have to exert more energy in empty houses, but they can also open up beautiful new areas of yourself.

A lot of people think that, but it's different than the formal contracts and agreements of the 10th house. The 7th house is "how you do relationships" in an equal fashion with others, which can be with clients, co-workers, partners of all kinds (not just romantic). You can be in a committed relationship for years (7th house), but a legal marriage contract changes the responsibilities of the union. And the 8th house is what you share with other people - finances, mortgage, debts, etc. - and how you merge lives together.
