Relation between Einstein's Coefficients A & B Laser Physics| Einstein's coefficient significance

Einstein introduced A and B coefficients to describe Absorption, spontaneous emission and stimulated emission. Einstein proposed rate equation for absorption, rate equation for spontaneous emission and rate equation for stimulated emission. Always remember that the Einstein A coefficient is related to the rate of spontaneous emission of light, and the Einstein B coefficient is related to the absorption and stimulated emission of light. The helium-neon laser was the first continuous wave (CW) laser ever constructed. It was built in 1961 by Ali Javan, Bennett, and Herriott at Bell Telephone Laboratories. In this video you will learn that B21 is the coefficient for the stimulated emission while B12 is the coefficient for stimulated absorption and both the processes are mutually reverse processes and their probabilities are equal, hence B12 = B21. Einstein coefficients are mathematical quantities which are a measure of the probability of absorption or emission of light by an atom or molecule. This video is very useful for graduation physics courses like engineering physics AKTU students, BSc Physics in hindi students, and all other who need to know about this topic.
