I dated someone who acted very similar to Austin, same mannerisms and sarcasm, an odd sense of humor where he playfully mocks others. He is a narcissist, no doubt in my mind...and I'm sure he loves his family, but I highly doubt he respects his wife.

I can see through Austin. In the beginning, when he’s talking about proposing to Catherine, I can tell he’s only telling us what we want to hear, or what he thinks would “sound good” to make him seem like a great, loving guy.

Thats honestly just what he was talking about. Being performative. He’s not completely acting out his feelings, but definitely wants to be perfect for the camera. It’s unlikely that he would propose to her if he didn’t feel the way he said he felt about her. You can see the emotion when he was proposing, since he was not focusing on being an entertainer for the camera, but focusing on Catherine. I think this guy discovered that right.

I think that you need to definitely look more into these videos, I thought you would be able to recognize Austin’s narcissistic behavior & I don’t believe that people bring up these concerns just because they’re a famous family & talking about them brings attention.. but people are generally concerned about Catherine. For example, his jet ski was ruining his neighbors property & he didn’t care for it nor did he respect his wife’s opinion in their marriage to get rid of it. He wanted to keep it, so he made it clear he’s gonna do what he wants. Also I think you should check out the video of the prank on Austin with wrapping paper on his car as well as the inappropriate lollipop instance with a child.
