Hey brothers and sisters! I encouraged my single Christians to be strong and trust the lord with your spouse. My husband and I married at 22 years old. We started courting when I was 21. He was actually my childhood friend. Our parents are Bestfriend till this day. The lord showed me he was my spouse when I was 16. But the lord didn’t allow the union to come into fruition until we were 22. Before we became married we had to separate because we began to make each other idols. But God did a beautiful work. We just welcomed our first born ! So he encouraged I understand the lonely nights and frustrating times. But waiting on the lord is such a powerful choice. Cause once it’s time he shows out !

I would like to add something.. we must be strong in our relationship with God to discern who is who.. We don’t necessarily NEED a pastor or other to always confirm .. It’s all about our faith and our sensitivity to God and his voice.. for us to even know if the pastor or friends are giving word of confirmation, we must know and discern Gods voice ourselves ! Just as we know when someone isn’t good for us or aren’t treating us right, we will also know by seeking the Lord if someone is who he has sent for us.. a lot of times many tend to be led my lust and worldly things and so they look over who God sent.. that’s a scary thing.. and a marriage can be of God and happen within 1 day … it’s not about time but about God.. if it’s God , then that’s all that matters.. that’s the question , God is this you or not and ask for revelation.. only he knows …

I’ve been dating this girl for only a month. I’ve been a Christian since birth, but didn’t live for god with previous relationships, fornication, lust ect. She’s also been Christian her whole life but is in the same boat as me, we’ve laid down the line and told each other this is a commitment between us and god. I’ve struggled with pornography since a young kid, but since I’ve gave my life to Christ fully, I haven’t struggled with it anymore. I really want this relationship to work out and have been praying on it everyday. I really want to bring this up to her, but she’s said that she struggles with commitment and that scares me.

I got saved while in a relationship we have kids together but we are not married, i got saved a year before him, now hes saved to and got baptized. Ill be waiting for the marriage, we dont live together anymore. Ourpastor says we should stay together but i dont feel peace outside of marriage... ill wait on the lord gor his will.

Most importantly, our relationship with God is MOST important! If we are stable in our relationship with God , our marriage won’t be prosperous! God is our husband too. Our relationship with God , is a direct reflection of how our relationship would be with others.. This is why when we truly know the love eof God and how he loves us , if will reflect in how we love others ! This is why the scripture constantly speak of how we can’t say we know or love God yet not love others or fellowship with darkness (any sin, fornication etc). When we truly love someone , we would not fornicate with them because that’s not the love of God.. Love is beyond feeling but action.. a person that loves you would not do anything to cause you to sin or stumble and will not condone you sinning with them or without them.. they should be living a life of sin making excuses for it anyway.. If we can’t be faithful in our relationship with God, we won’t be faithful to anyone else no matter how we may “feel”. As children of God we walk by faith and not by sight .. so we don’t go by feeling, how things look but are led by the spirit of God the word of God and living according to how he says to live.. Good things can ONLY come from God .. the blessings of the Lord maketh rich and add no sorrow! So if a person what’s a good husband or wife it comes from God and we have to go through God to receive that .. we can’t be soo vain and blind either to go by how someone looks, could be a sign of a person being led by lust.. we must ask God for discernment to know if we are walking in love with others or lust..
