Married to a staunch pro Israel supporter, still celebrates the Leviticus 23 Feasts, lives by the Jewish calendar, blows the shofar, listens to predominantly pro Israel eschatology and basically lives by the law without realizing it. Nothing I have tried to say about the true Gospel impacts her. Even now in the face of blatant genocide, silence, minimizing, denial, and refuses to engage. I have felt deeply disconnected to my own wife spiritually because of this. I give her to God cis I'm at the end of my rope with it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

That's the truth that she and my daughter-in-law want to be the spiritual leader. I am not budging on this, thank you, what you're saying is good advice. I will not give up my freedom either. Your husband is a good example to follow. I am going through a rough time with this, but maybe I am supposed to go through this. I look forward to what is coming after this life, we are not here for now. We are here to get there, and I suppose this is a place that God wants us to go through to realize Adam's sin of unbelief and to have plenty of time to consider that. When I was in Hebrew roots, I have seen that a lot of women did take the role of spiritual leader, but a lot of ministers there encouraged that of their wives. It seemed that their wives were on a high pedestal, and a lot of people there wanted to have and give them a lot of attention. I never really felt liked by them in that environment. I felt like an outsider, and apparently, I was because thank goodness I am not there anymore. I found the truth in that Jesus paid for all of my sins, and he rose again so I can too because I am in him. I never felt saved at all in that belief system, but I know I am saved now, I just want this to be over with of course. I will never take my own life because I don't want to stand before God to give an answer for that, but don't we all long for that better world to come. Wow, I feel such pleasure in that thought. We will be there; I don't want them to miss out. My wife is going to a Christian church get-together today. I know what she is doing. She is trying to be their spiritual guru. Pray for them not to get caught up in her tutelage. Thank you for taking the time for this. I have nothing against women teaching if they are teaching the truth. My favorite minister is a woman on KZbin. She is Renee Roland, and she was the biggest help to lead me to see. I hope you look here up. You and she are both saints.

Wow YOU have some authority to call all Torah observant people as decieved, blinded, can't see, and have distorted reason.

Hi Hannah. This does not apply to Jewish people. This also does not apply to Messianic Jews who keep their beautiful celebrations from their heritage as tradition, but understand they are not required by law for salvation. The Hebrew Roots or Torah-observant faith that claims Christians are bound to these ceremonial feasts, eating laws and holy days as required for pleasing God or for salvation is deception. And, Paul warns in 1 Tim 4:1 that any other gospel is a gospel of demons. A new enlightenment that Christians must be Torah-observant is deception. Deception twists truth and twists the mind in many ways. How we live for Christ and love others changes over time when focus moves toward worship of the law rather than worship of the Savior.

@@JustOneStitch I was raised Christian and was extremely failed by the church growing up and was taught through Christianity to be a severe codependent. Then I got into Hebrew Roots and that is what broke that toxic codependent way of thinking in me. The Torah has only changed my life for the better. I am gentile. It really is sad to see something (Torah observant) that has only changed my life for the better be attacked and tore apart. I'm not a teacher of theology by any means I just live my life. I've recently been bombarded with your solbergs videos by a Christian. I'm just having a moment. I can see how some people could have a negative experience in Hebrew Roots groups, but that literally goes for any group of people. There are plenty of people gentiles who's lives have only been changed for the better because of Hebrew Roots/Torah observance.

I'm new to your channel, but do you still observe sabbath after leaving hebrew roots?
@JustOneStitch Жыл бұрын
Hi Chris! In short, I do not keep the Sabbath as a legal requirement. However, I appreciate the rest God has given us permission to take, and He is worthy of our remembrance, gratitude and reflection. We rest every weekend on Saturdays, mostly, and occasionally on a Sunday afternoon after church. I do believe that working seven days a week with a heart of greed after financial gain, with no stopping to thank God or gather to worship and serve Him, is representative of monetary idolatry.

I have been recently watching videos from your channel as I am stepping away from a fellow Hebrew Roots movement and was expecting to come to a video like this. While I am very happy that you stepped away from this HRM and are finding freedom back in Christ, it is very saddening to see you turning on to women. Going from Hebrew roots movement to Complementarianism (the belief that men and women have different gender roles, headship over women) is just going from one jail to another if you ask me. (This coming from a Christian Egalitarian like me we believe in full equality in home, church, and ministry) We women have always taken the blame, starting with Adam back in the Garden.. and while many women may have been spiritual leaders in that movement, it doesn’t make it wrong, the movement is wrong, not the spiritual leadership of women. From the start we have equality between the sexes, made in God´s image and given dominion over the earth ( Genesis 1:27,) it is only after the fall that we have patriarchy, aka male headship over women (Genesis 3:16). It is very disheartening to see women teaching this stuff, but unfortunately not surprising…look for the meaning of “head” as used in Ephesians 5 to see the TRUE meaning of that word, not to mention the man is never called the head of the home, or the spiritual leader of the home, neither in Torah or the New Testament… Look I will not make this post longer but look into books like God´s word to Women by Katherine Bushnell, The Making of Biblical Womanhood by Beth Allison Barr or even visit the websites www. Godswordtowomen.org , or www.cbeinternational.org/ to find good resources and overall GOOD THEOLOGY that won´t strap you back. And no is not about feminist deception or however some may call it, is the call to FULL EQUALITY in ministry and home that we believe, based on what I think is very well-researched scholarship from multiple historians, theologians, pastors (men and women ) . Hope you get to read this and hopefully open your eyes, the last thing this world needs is more women under subjugation or taking the blame, we have been taking the blame from the first man created, I think it is time we follow Christ and HIS treatment of women as our first example. God bless.
