Need to correct the M&M's example. You said you needed the M&M's before the cookies, therefore the M&M's are first. When in actuality, you need hot cookies first, then the cold M&M's are dropped into them. Regardless, you need the cookie ingredients first, the batter made and raw cookie dough formed before the M&M's. You don't cook much, do you?

Agree with you, but it can be both ways: you can cook the cookies first and then the M&M's or you can cook the M&M's first and then the cookies. So, the conclusion is that a cooking example is not that good. The video was very useful, understandable and the best part: questions

You need to have the cookies prepared WITH the M&M's inside them before they're baked. Unless you push every M&M into the cookie once it's done baking, which then, yes, the cookies would be first.
