Adding velocities (in terms of beta) is just slightly harder than v1 + v2, 'cuz Einstein needs to make sure that the sum is never greater than 1.
We'll see in the next video how 0.5 plus 0.9 is less than one with our nifty equation.

I'mma correct that for you: Recently, SLOPPY ERRORS DURING experiments have FOOLISHLY indicated that speed of light can be surpassed. It would be interesting to see how these theories workout. Reconciling these "results" with the millions of experiments PER DAY that confirm the limit of light speed is where the fun would be. I don't believe a word of it.
