😍👍 I totally love it, Jackie! Both the colour palette and the subject! 😊 I think it is wonderful you take inspiration from your surroundings, they are so beautiful! I'm still struggling to master the wet on wet technique, so I'm really grateful for every piece of advice you give in these videos! 💦🖌☺️🙏 Oh, and that light, I hadn't noticed the glow until you said it, but it only added charm to the scene. 😉 (I love how you style your videos!👌😁) Thank you so much! 🤗🥰👏👏👏😘

Thank you for always watching and leaving me a comment, Escudera. It doesn't go unnoticed and I so appreciate it. I'm glad you enjoyed the video and painting, and hope you continue to advance your watercolor practice. WOW technique is tricky and forever will be because it has such a mind of its own.

Thanks again for another wonderful watercolour video. Your voice is so soothing too. I am always scared for some reason of using masking fluid but I can see it can be very useful. How long does it take for the masking fluid to dry? - Also, I like the paint lifting technique on the row boat to give a ray of light. I would have never thought of doing that. And the water looks so calming. I have to try this painting soon.

@@JackiePeacock Jackie, I am doing pretty good painting the trees, but I am struggling with lifting the green. I was using hookers green with dioxazine purple which turned out beautiful but perhaps the staining power of the purple is making it difficult to lift. I don't have Perylene green yet. Any suggestions? Or point me to one of your videos. Thank you.

I tried this picture. It's difficult to see what your painting looks like. Maybe brighter lights in your filming or if you could zoom in. I know I need lots of practice. I do like your subject and I have done your mountains for beginners tutorial and I really like the way my mountains turned out. I'll keep trying. Thank you so much.

Lovely painting! I painted it and ran into a problem. At some time you switched from Cedar Teal to Forest and never told the viewer. I was very confused because when you switched over, you swished your brush through all the colors, except burnt sienna and then proceeded. Please review the video and correct it. It would be very helpful because I was confused. You were building it up and so you mixed the gray, blue and forest? I am sorry, but I am a rank beginner. I had to look up how to mix cedar teal and Natasha’s gray :)

The colors you use don’t matter. She is teaching technique. You can use color any way you see fit. That is what makes it your own. You don’t have to buy these handmade paints in order to create a painting like this one. Use what you have. Otherwise, you’ll end up spending money on paints with every tutorial you watch. The colors used are certainly lovely, but could be recreated with similar colors quite easily.

I think I mentioned it in the beginning, but will definitely need to remember to mention it when I’m moving to another color while painting! Sorry about that!

Just a friendly reminder... It's okay to not talk sometimes while filming a painting tutorial video. Don't feel like you have to say something every single second of a 20 minute video. It is hard on you, and it can becoming annoying listening to someone talk non-stop for twenty minutes. Even someone with a sweet voice like yours. Please don't be offended, that was not my intent. I spent years in media, television, radio, video, print, etc, as an advertising agency owner, and my intent was to offer some helpful advice. I realize when people first start out in media they think silence is awkward if they aren't talking every second the camera is rolling. But that simply isn't true. Just as it is unnatural and annoying to listen to someone who never shuts up in real life, it is the same when watching someone on television or video. So I just wanted to free you from feeling like you have to talk for the entire video. I just found your channel and I am enjoying the simple clean style of your landscape paintings. I really liked your misty trees video. I had been wanting to know how to paint a misty scene for quite a while, and you taught me how. I agree with you that painting the cabin windows a glowing yellow would have really added a nice pop of color and a glowing warmth. Why do we always think of our best ideas after the fact? lol! I must say, I was amazed by that green deep deep light paint drying blue! I wish their paints were not so expensive, they are really natural looking and so pretty, but a bit out of my budget a the moment. I am a subscriber now so I look forward to more great videos from you. Thanks!

You’re totally right. Sometimes I feel like I need to talk the whole time, but moments of silence are quite nice.
