New subscriber, older lady. Thank you so very much for being aware of using the evil sentence fillers. Excessive use of ums and uhs are deal breakers for me. It's how I determine if I will spend my time viewing their channel. Also using the word like in the same manner and circumstance makes me tune out and unsubscribe. Then there's the sentence ending uptalk, downtalk and vocal fry. I sound as if I'm a crabby old woman but I'm really not. I'm only 65. Life is too short to have to endure in something in which you have a choice to listen to or not. It is never too late or early to learn something new like proper watercolor painting techniques. I am thrilled your channel appeared in my KZbin feed today and I look forward to watching your content and glean from your expertise. If anyone has suggestions as to where to start when buying supplies and watching tutorials, I would appreciate the input. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Hi Jackie....I love you pine tree style and you do a great job of demonstrating your work. I have a question.....where do you purchase your Princceton long round brushes? I tried on Amazon but they kept bringing up long handle brushes.

I would much rather you talk and explain what you’re doing. I probably wouldn’t watch if you didn’t. I’m trying to learn to paint more realistic trees and I love your videos! All of the trees are really beautiful but I think I like the last one best and glad I found this before I finish all of my Christmas cards.

You do NOT talk too much☺️I enjoy your videos and need to know why you do what you do. It helps me understand techniques rather than exact paints and papers. While I’d love to have exactly the same paints, I don’t get frustrated that I don’t have the same results knowing what you’ve explained☺️

You don't talk too much as far as I'm concerned. I love your videos and just recently subscribed due to another person's comment about you that was positive but now I forgot the name of the lady. I love painting trees but am still very new to watercolor painting. Thank you for being you and talking the way you talk!

What a brilliant tutorial! Thank you! You have inspired me to sit with my brushes and paint all different trees..I tend to do the same one over and over but seeing the wide variation with not TOO MUCH diiference in technique is just wild!

I prefer you explain what you’re doing. ❤ Some people are just ridiculous asking you not to talk. 😊How else are you going to explain the process for us to learn your technique’s. 😊They can turn the volume off and F off. Lol 😂Your techniques are lovely. Your Christmas trees are the best I’ve seen. And you have a beautiful voice very relaxing. Keep up the good works.

My husband and I are making a winter diorama for a friend. I needed a beautiful, moody, winter backdrop for the scene and have been feeling stuck. I made a simple “watercolor winter forest” search and your video was the first to pop up. PERFECT! So inspirational! With the simple techniques you’ve shown there are so many ways for me to use your tutorial to create the perfect backdrop. As a first time watcher (now subscribed), thank you so much for your creation of this art and even more for taking the time to video, edit, and share this with us here. Sincerely, Debrah.
