Hi James..could you please tell me if we can use the question ;where have you been with second year classes? To ask about which lesson we have reached with those classes? Is it a correct question???!! Or we can use this expression where have you been with? Just to ask about where the person was I mean asking about the place.. I would be grateful if I get an answer from you.. Regards.. Thanks

Thank you, I don't feel embarrassed as much as I used to, I have speech problems sometimes when I talk my words stutter and I stop talking. But now I'm learning to breathe and take time to get my thoughts together. And I just saw your channel and learned more now than when I was in school thank you for teaching and sharing with people who still struggle even helping adults who still need guidance.

Thank you for this awesome lesson, it's just what I needed right now. I'm from Colombia and I just moved together with two foreigners roomies. One is Canadian and the other is from the States, besides I got to know a lot of people from England and France lately, really good friends. But as these last months have been much more immersive in the language than ever, I started to feel really bad because I started to realise how limitated my vocabulary is and soon I realised I couldn't express my self as much as I'd like to. It was a tremendous hit on my ego as I was sure I had a much better english. I started to feel really bad lately, I felt that my english was becoming worse and worse and even words and expressions that I'm supposed to already know wiped off of my mind when I tried to speak english because of the pressure I put myself to speak it the most perfectly I can. I felt seriusly frustrated and was starting to kind of hate speaking in english, but I put everythin in perspective and said to myself that it's my ego trying to make me think that if my english is not perfect right now, I won't improve it ever, so I decided to humblly start to study english every day, be patient with my self and look for ways to be more relax and enjoy the process, your video just came out on time! thank you very much!! 🙏

Dear James, I've been watching your lessons for several years. I really appreciate your efforts and teaching style, which allows me to relax while enjoying learning English at the same time. Due to the epidemic lockdowns, the atmosphere has been so bad here in my city (H.K.). Your positivity and fun way of teaching have boosted my motivation to keep learning English by myself. Thanks a lot!! Keep making more videos with high level of quality^^

I'm going to give a presentation in 2 weeks, which I'm very excited about. I'm also struggling with the preparation process. I will work with this method immediately👍Thank you for the deeper insight into the feeling of excitement. This content is incredibly helpful for other areas of study, too. Greetings from Germany!

Finally something about free diving. Next to listening to James this is my other passion. This is commonly used method to slow down heartbeat ratio and lower blood pressure. Just keep ratio exhale doubble time as inhale. With practise you can get even to one two breaths per minute. I use it commonly while diving and in daily situations to calm down. Great advise as always here.

I would like to thank you very much for what you are doing. For the first time in a long time, I watched the video and I’m really happy with it, because i enjoyed watching it. Normally I’m trying to force myself watch the video in English, even when I do not want to learn this language. In all this I believe that his teaching can be interesting, useful and promising. The format is really cool, because it can be useful and interesting for me. The impression was that you are a very developed person that can not please the eye. I’d be happy to watch you. Keep up the good work

This really helped. I am going to try the rejection game. Just last week, I attempted fixing a math problem and the entire class said that it's a misconception, and I was only trying to help them. I was hurt by that. I decided to never say a word in class.

Your channel is excellent and you are a brilliant teacher! 👍 I run a channel about Music Tech and as I am half French/German I could perfectly do it in one of those languages. But I decided to make it in English for obvious reasons and it’s doing well so far. My audience is widely spread around the planet and a nice community forms around nerdy subjects. This is what the whole YT-thing is about for me! There is only one small problem: Criticism about my German accent, which I admit I maintain somewhat. And this criticism comes one hundred percent from Germans, while everybody else seems to be fine. 😀 How should I handle it and what should I tell them? Maybe you have an idea about that? All the best from Berlin! 🍀
