I love that and if this was my client I would do the whole face like that. 😂 I think it's awesome when a whole bunch of sebum that's been under pressure dying to explode comes oozing out in bucket loads. 😂 Am I the only one that likes this? Squeezing skin too much bruises the capillaries (superficial blood vessels)this causes inflammation,slows skin healing If the skin is already inflamed it's painful and at it's worst can cause deeper tissue damage leading to scarring Better to enlarge the opening of the pores/hair follicles first to minimise the pressure needed,particularly for whiteheads( no proper opening to the skin surface) and inflamed spots That's why doctors always used to say not to squeeze acne or it would make it worse

Most of this isn’t acne. It’s simply pure facial hygiene! Once they’ve visited a ‘spa’ then all it takes us to use some face wash, exfoliate and rinse for 5 minutes each morning and before going to bed each time.

You sound so ridiculously naive and plain ignorant. First, acne is not a threat to your health or well being. People around the globe are living very hard life where they work nonstop and still remain poor. They may not even have access to clean water or healthy food. Vanity is the least of their concerns. These trivial problems and metrosexual tendencies are very western. Men in other cultures, especially those who do hard backbreaking work do not buy separate face wash and take time to exfoliate. People who don’t have much time or money, and basic access to clean water to wash with. It is extremely difficult for many people in parts of Asia, largely due to American and European countries setting up factories in their countries and dumping toxic waste on their hand and in their waters, polluting their drinking water and killing their fish. Many people are lucky when they can just afford to buy soap, much less a face wash and body soap. Even here in the US there are many families in poverty who don't have money for toiletries and basic hygiene problems, you might be surprised. Some people have oily skin and using harsh products to exfoliate or washing excessively only exacerbate the problem. You really think they’d rather spend money at an expensive spa when all they have to do is wash their face daily? Of course not acne has many causes and it is usually not for a lack of washing. Educate yourself about the world you live in. Walking around clueless in 2021 is unacceptable when information is readily available.

They often give client a liquid treatment to do at home before they come in for extractions, especially the very severe acne. Otherwise they give a pretreatment treatment. The treatments at home are to clear up as much as possible any non-infected fluids to make the sebum easier to identify and extract. Many have pusy looking heads on acne, we see some that come in likely un pretreated. But when you see the tech pull off a formed sebum off the top of the skin, it's likely the fluid that was around it was cleared away by the pretreatment. Plus that helps pull the sebum to the top and helps to decrease deep pinching.

It’s very relaxing for alot of ppl - but it’s also very specific, in that I mean you either love it or hate it or have no feelings for it. It brings me a sense of calm - especially if I’m already anxious - but I also watch just to watch because I love it! 😂 I don’t even have to be anxious lol - so in my humble opinion, as long as you’re not hurting anyone then I’d say you’re fine and completely normal and also it’s certainly okay for your dad to have his own opinion but as far as him saying it’s “creepy” - I wouldn’t go that far cause it’s not even close to being creepy considering what is going on in the world these days 😅🤦🏻‍♀️ lol but it’s def different and maybe even alil weirder than some people’s hobbies 😂 so I’ll give him that!
