I think this is tragic as the young man is scarred for life. His treatment requires a dermatologist we all agree but we must remember that Viet Nam is a developing country with constrained medical resources. I’m guessing that outside of Hanoi and Ho Chi Min City, that there are few dermatologists practicing. Visiting an aesthetician might be his only option and that person’s level of training may not be up to US or Canadian or US standards. This video points out that medical treatment in developing nations is not on par with the first world. Those of us who can avail themselves of First World medical should be thankful. Certainly our hearts and prayers go out to this young man.
