Always great to hear from Tom and Slav. They say similar stuff in very different ways - great complements to each other. Enjoy the wedding!

Thanks for the help with my forehand guys. It’s the first time anyone has been able to explain how the stroke works!

I often forget to relax when I haven’t played for a while. Makes such a difference.

Slavy first of all congrats on your wedding ! Love your cameos on TPA. Your comment on 6:30 - if you don’t feel the sequencing adding muscle tension will just be make you hold the shape and be counterproductive(I think that the gist) - I can think of so many places in my current game where this will be helpful - thanks for shining a light on this one. Ps been reading your Tiger Tennis and Elite Tennis books - some really good stuff in there. Tom as usual picking up on the nuances. I’ve been watching this channel for awhile starting to use the ideas to help my son’s baseball pitching technique. Ps player here starting to smoke the ball…

Battling this same thing, and after hitting with pronation from shoulder and allowing racket to release was really amazing power, thanks

Slavy is not making much sense in this video. It must be the approaching wedding!😜

That’s fine then. Maybe I didn’t quite understand his point. Never mind.

I think I ramble on a bit too much. It was a single take, so I spun in circles a bit trying to get my point across. It’s in there, it just needs some deciphering.

Does look better. Essentially, you could have told him to "throw" his racquet at the ball instead of trying to muscle it across his body. Seems to me.

Thanks. I don’t like to recommend players think about throwing the racket

What Tom said. Although if you watched some of his videos, you’ll know Tom is a fan of the throwing motion in general as a way to understand the kinetic chain. So you are onto something. Cheers!
