I was a carer for a number of years, long hours, sometimes violent incidents against you, struggles and frustration, sometimes breakthroughs and laughter for a fleeting moment, not a lot of pay for your work and no thanks. Then Covid happened and I am now a broken man. To see death all around you and nothing you can do about it but carry on feeding someone, knowing they're not gonna make it just broke me. I have a list of mental issues and can't sleep now. But this music helps a lot. It actually does help me sleep. for some reason relaxing music stresses me out and makes me want to cry. usually seeing space reminds me of how short life is and i click off to go back to watching funny videos or tv to take my mind off of it, but i restrained clicking off this video and just gave it a second to sink in. i am in fact crying but this video reminds me that, while life is short, the size of the universe is unfathomable and anxiety and stress is only going to prevent me from seeing as much of it as possible before my time is up. i think i'm going to commit to flight school tomorrow.
