The S10 was the best bike I ever had for standing on the pegs. Having the ability to do so for long periods gave my butt a good break on long days enabling me to go further. Once just as an experiment on a quiet highway I stood on the pegs doing 75 mph for 30 miles with ease. (I had the bars raised 1" on mine)
