I used to live in Korea from 2016-2019, and I along with many had a negative image about China. But honestly, so much has since then and now I am so pro China. The US has revealed it's true cards these past 2 years and I'm so glad Koreans are visiting China. The US and the West has fooled us about so many other countries, including China. So happy that the Chinese are enjoying the fruits of their hard work. They deserve it and their progress gives me hope for humanity and to be able to solve our issues of pollution. President Yoon is an enemy to the South Korean people just like Bongbong is an enemy to the Filiipinos and like every US president is with Americans.

@grouchypatch9185 pretty much man. That’s how highly developed the propaganda is in the West. So many KZbin channels echo Western media news making one believe that it’s independent when in reality it’s just an extension (with most of the KZbinrs not even realizing it). So I understand people’s fears, but it’s entirely a projection fo what the US actually does when you research it (such as the debt traps and g-cide, all things that the IMF and World bank do and what is happening to the Palestinians).

For S.Korean people ..... ..Holidaying In Shanghai can BE CHEAPER than holidaying in S.Korea resorts.
@davidrichards174114 күн бұрын
That is true for many places in east asia. Including attractive warm climates of southeast asia that welcome koreans and chinese with open arms, like in Thailand Malaysia and Indonesia.

There are many korean restaurants and shops in Malaysia that cater to Koreans, and tens of thousands of korean retirees have moved to enjoy the lower cost, warmer weather, and slower pace of life where the local malays & chinese welcome them with friendship and dance groups.

A lot of Korean KZbinrs posting videos of their trip to China. Most of the younger ones are in Shanghai, eating, shopping, Disney, etc. literally weekend trip. A few others venture out to Qingdao or even Guangzhou if they got more time.

What about also visiting hong kong, macau, and chinese taipei? Hong kong is a must-visit but it's expensive.

@ I’ve seen those vids of travelers to those places over the years off and on, but I saw a recent vid regarding what’s Koreans recent uptick to Shanghai, and it’s usually two camps: 1. Some of them didn’t do much research or planning, so they just pick the most convenient destination which had most of what they wanted, which is Shanghai in this case, 2. Some recent influences from C-Dramas and tourist shows drove them to go to Shanghai. It’s also more “international” than a lot of other close by Asian destinations. The older ones maybe more interested in historical stuff and natural wonders, but many of the younger ones are just looking for a modern get away with ok costs.
@davidrichards174114 күн бұрын
@@wolf-man-bear-pig-torque Shanghai isn't international. It's all chinese. Even its so-called international schools are literally 99% local chinese students now. Hong Kong is probably the only international city in china.
