I appreciate you trying this. For me, I think the reason this doesn't stick is because I'm so used to you giving builds or fight tips so when you upload straight gameplay Im just not as engaged. That being said, if you intended this to be something to listen to in the background I think commentary would be actually a beneficial addition because it allows the listener to selectively engage in what's going on without having to see the actual video. Alternatively, I would also be in favor of adding the controller sounds too but that's more for a relaxing effect. Thanks again for trying something new GE and I hope this was helpful

Heads up you save more time grappling the monster with your shield drawn as soon as they flinch or then to unsheathe and then go for the grapple.

I really like Lance. You are such a big fucking tank, that never has to sheath its weapon. I really like it for end game hunts. And pulling off that clutch counter is the coolest shit ever.

It really sucks they need to buff it my guess at this point is is that they figure gunlance I s the offensive version so there's no need to buff the regular Lance. You can get some big hits in but when you compare it to the rest of the weapons it's not up to snuff and it's not fair

Honestly, as someone who's put in over one-hundred hours in world, and six hundred in gen ult, and picked up the lance because it looked fun in both games, I thought it be great to watch you do a lance video. But it's not. Only because I realised it just be a two hour long video complaining, and ragging on, the lance like a lot of your videos have done lately. I know I shouldn't take the ragging personally, but with the hand problems I've been dealing with for years now, the lance is the one weapon in the MH series I've been able to comfortably use, and put a ton of effort into getting good at; especially since it's not the hardest hitting weapon. But to come a weapons and builds video channel for build ideas, it really /really/ gets old hearing ragging on the only weapon I can get good at using, on videos it's not even apart of (i.e. comparing the lance with a HBG). Sorry for ranting, even if what I said doesn't matter in the end. This comment is just going to get downvoted to hell anyways.

You sir, obviously write like someone who has a deep depression. Enjoy your main Weapon regardless of anybody else. I'm a Bug Stick main, and it's the most fun weapon for me, even when those build videos and skill levels of all that KZbinrs suck. What really matters in Games is simply the fun.

As someone who as like 1k hours on iceborne + 2k hours on Freedom unite and 1k on Monster hunter tri and as someone who actually enjoy lance and know how to play it I can say this is a very good weapon and you can do good damage even if of course it’s not like a hammer or an HBG. But the gameplay was painful to watch cause not a lot of people are good with lance at all. It’s all bout what you enjoy people need to stop shaming lance or lance players just because they don’t like the weapon or don’t know how to use it. Anyway all of that to say I feel you man and lance is one of my favorite weapon

Honestly, not a fan. If it was 2 hours of lance gameplay with your commentary on what you’re doing and why then I would love it so much more. I’ve gotten used to your voice and I really enjoy listening to it. You’re one of if not my favorite mh KZbinrs and always give good commentary on your videos. Nice vid, love ur content but maybe try some better monster match ups, lance is best against large brute wyverns like diablos. Kinda sux against fast moving targets like kirin because alot of ur damage comes from stringing long mostly interupted combos.
