I worked 8 to 5 then taught a aerobics class fixed dinner cleaned did laundry took time with my my two boys got up and did it again. It can be done if you have lots of love and caring. You remind me so much of a young me.

Good stormy evenings are the best... Of course, not the destructive ones! I loved watching you straighten and clean and cook and smile at your family. My son used to say if having a few covers in seasonal weights in a home would bring about world peace, I would be the cornerstone of that!!! I try! That beautiful dog just waited until you cleaned and straightened your couch before choosing his spot! I think my cat definitely watches for me to finish washing and folding quilts in order to claim her spot of pride on top! I think your home schooling channel will be a wonderful gift to the world. I know a lot of families are considering it this fall due to the virus. I loved my years as a teacher, and I support home schooling, too... I think most might think those ideas conflict, but I so don't. I used to have to stay quiet (not easy for me lol) when a parent would tell me a whole lot of things the school should be teaching. It seemed to me many of those things would be better taught by the family... and the depth and personal touches to home schooling are so beautiful. In other words, you go, Girl!!!

Yeah, me too! My daughter is now 22yrs.old, and I used Luvs diapers on her, because I was usually too poor to afford name brand Pampers, and also, I liked how Luvs had a generous wide fit for her little bottom. (Huggies was too narrow). Pampers and Luvs are made big, square-wide, for a comfortable fit. I sound like a commercial, huh? Lol. Yeah, and I love summer storms too. I miss those. They don't really have those here in San Diego, CA.

Don’t ever worry about what you’re wearing or how you look, that’s not what we’re looking at really. Big boss man is getting big! Time for him to help with chores, put a cloth on him and let him mop the floors. Happy Birthday to your oldest, my birthday was the 28th and you know you’re old when you buy yourself a new iron and you’re thrilled! When I dust I got to Dollar Tree and buy their car wash mitts, they work like a charm for dusting, washing floors and all sorts of cleaning. Stay safe from the storms babe it’s been a tad warmly here in Minnesota, but that’s summer. Thanks for another great video!

The Carriage House At least he’d do something besides spit up on you! Hahahahaha! Plus he could clean up his own drool while he’s crawling around, he is getting big fast. The heat has been hitting us off and on until this week, then it decided to stay. I’m okay with that though, it’s better than below zero for days on end. I think those little car wash mitts from Dollar Tree work so good for cleaning and once they start getting ratty looking, toss them and go buy a couple more. They really work slick for polishing silver. Have a fantastic 4th and tell Boss Man, NO you cannot shoot off M80s, you don’t want the cops arresting your little butt and spending time in the clink! 😘 Thanks for the birthday wishes it was great but then I celebrate the whole month., I’m old so I can do that. 😉 Bought myself a new iron and man does it work nice. Kinda sad when you get excited by a new iron. Hahahahaha!

That is a great idea about doing a home schooling channel. With the current situation with this virus getting worse, schools may be forced to stay closed. Thanks Becky, I don’t have any kids, but that would really help all the parents out there. I have heard how frustrating it has been to try to do home schooling when these parents have to not only work from home, but be teachers as well.

Oh I love a good storm! It gives me a cozy feeling for some reason. Don't worry about the baby spit up. It's your life right now. My girls are 12 and 14. Someone once told me " Don't fret the little messes and being perfect, and when your children leave dirty hand prints on windows don't be so quick to wipe it away. Give it a good look before you do. I love a nice summer storm. The house looks so pretty as usual. Looks like big orange kitty and the husband were both feeling playful, lol. New channel sounds great, lots of people will probably end up homeschooling this fall whether that was their idea or not. I think there is a good chance the kids will go back but then things may shut down again, at least in my area. So we are preparing in case that happens. I heard a comedian say once that she had been trying for years to train her cats from getting on the counters and the outcome was she had just trained them to look a little scared when she walked in the room ... lol. Hope you have a good week. Its pretty hot and humid here so the ac is running more than I like, love to have the windows open ! Hugs from PA!

BEKAH!!! I was so happy to see your episode notification. I was having another debate, with our 13 year-old son, about why his 18 year-old brother doesn't have to do weekly chores. Lol... Endless. Paul & I decided not to send Josiah back to school, this year. Hey Miguel! I just looked up Atole de Elote, and was talking to my husband about it..yum! We have sweet corn growing out here, this seems like a perfect time of year for this...if you have time maybe you can send your recipe...or if there's an authentic recipe online you recommend...Brian loves horchata...I need to make that too and the mole sauce...Yes, I hear ya, about debating with the kids, haha....That's good about Paul though, I know they'll be lots of changes coming up, but that's so sweet you are supportive...Thanks Miguel for your other sweet comments too....I always look forward to chatting with you:) 🌽🌺☕️😘

@@TheCarriageHouse 🙂 Hello Bekah! I'm gonna send you my recipe for Atole de Elote. I hope you & Brian like it. You'll need 3 cobs fresh sweet corn, 2 cups water, 2 cups your favorite milk, half cup raw turbinado sugar, 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon or more for your liking, 1/4 teaspoon your favorite salt. Step 1 of 4 Cut the kernels from the corn cobs, reserving them & their juices... should be about 2 cups. Step 2 of 4 Transfer kernels & juices to a blender or food processor and blend briefly until coarsely ground. Add the water, milk, sugar & cinnamon and blend until smooth. Step 3 of 4 In a medium pot over medium-low heat, add the corn mixture and bring to a low boil. Usually takes about 20 minutes to reach that boil. Add the salt and let the mixture boil until thickened. Usually takes about 11 to 15 minutes to start thickening. Step 4 of 4 Ladle Atole into cups or mugs and enjoy. Sometimes I like to garnish the Atole with a few cooked corn kernels on top. Paul loves to eat tamales with his Atole. That is so cool that you grow your own corn. I would love to do that. I am so happy and overjoyed that you will be starting a homeschool channel. I have recently decided that I would like to keep my daughter home and start homeschooling her for the time being, I do not feel safe sending her back to school during this pandemic and I'm so scared because I never have homeschooled before. She will be in Kindergarten.

Becky I just had to tell you we both have Band-Aids on the same exact finger I cut mine slicing strawberries on the mandolin ..i cut it pretty bad so it still hasn't healed up anyway also wanted to tell you I love the idea of the homeschool KZbin channel ..my daughter-in-law is going to start homeschooling my granddaughter and Grandson since my son passed away she's staying with me and decided she wanted to homeschool so I'm going to turn her on to your channel..i also got her watching these videos too..she loves them..

@@TheCarriageHouse gardening is doing ok..the only part we are having trouble with is keeping critters out of it..mainly the tomatoes and cucumbers..my husbands planted 2 orange trees and a lemon tree this week he's so proud lol! thanks for your kind words Bekkah..honestly on my bad/sad days one of the things that make me feel better is watching your videos..thats so true..always warm my heart..i just watched your cat video for the first time! i honestly do not know how i missed it..but i enjoyed it so much..so heart warming and relaxing..thank you for that..just what the doctor ordered..❤
