“Holidays are just parenting somewhere else.” 😅 To me, holidays away from home with a small child can be even more stressful than the everyday. A new surrounding, new routines need to be established… it’s not easy! But at the same time a change of scenery replenishes the mind like nothing else. I feel privileged to be able to go on a holiday, even though it’s not as relaxing as it used to be (pre child). x

We used to go to camber every summer when we were younger, with my Nan and her parents (my great grandparents) and we used to rent one of the beach front houses (the row of white ones) and I have the best memories. This was rather nostalgic to watch. Hope you all had the best time!

I grew up as a young boy going to Camber Sands every half term when it was nice weather, now being 20 its nice to see the beach again and seeing my younger self in your lovely girls enjoying the beach. I went there when i was really small with my grandparents. Its a really early memory and i remember it being so much fun. We also went to the IOW loads as we have family there so your vlogs are giving me all the nostalgic feels. Your girls are going to have such fantastic and classic childhood memories. Its so hard going away with kids but you are doing the best job and those memories will become the most cherrished in years to come. I’ve recently started running as well and also have never trained distance running before - I played softball as a kid and have done power lifting type training in my 20s. I’ve always hated running and any kind of cardio; I downloaded the Couch to 5k app and have been doing it for the last 8 or 9 weeks, and now I’m up to running approx 4km with intervals of sprinting without needing a break. It’s so satisfying how quickly you improve! Totally relate and looking forward to watching & hearing about your progress ☺️

Love your videos so much and watching your family blossom. Also i’m a sport and exercise student at university, the reason your running would have felt easier and breathing pattern was better is you start using your ATP energy system first which only lasts 10 second before you use your lactate system which causes build up of lactate in the muscles which can cause the beginning of the run to be hard it becomes easier as we use our aerobic system meaning your aerobic system has become stronger. hope this helped to explain slight
