Every single second was like making a new discovery and pondering what happened and the music was outstanding. I never thought a 15$ game could be so good till now. Like what everyone else said, if you haven't gotten the game please get it for yourself, it's amazing, and you're guaranteed to have a fun time.

Such a masterful game. I still remember buying it and playing for the first 10 minutes... the controls, the music, the aesthetic, it all felt too good to be true... until I started getting my ass handed to me by the enemies and environments. I completed the game eventually but more importantly, I walked away a changed man. This game taught me of the power of perseverance and to look at failure as an opportunity to learn and grow. Hollow Knight is so much more than a "game" it is an experience.

And it hits even harder because it plays when resting at a bench, the times that you're in between adventures. It literally gives you the space to breath and reflect on what you found and where to go next. But more so the benches provide a sort of sense of peace in the dangerous world. They remind me of bonfires from Dark Souls 1 in that way. And it's a nice reminder that in real life, it's nice and healthy to just sit back and relax. Give yourself time to breath and reflect on what's been happening. The OST for this game really holds a special place in my heart. Can't wait for Silksong's OST to immediately find it's way into my daily listens as well.

This is the video that convinced me to get Hollow Knight. When I first caught wind of this game, my childish brain thought it was a poorly conceived copy of Shovel Knight. Boy, I couldn't have been more wrong. Hollow Knight is a gaming masterpiece. Its beautiful, solemn music, stunningly moody graphics, and mysteriously dark world have earned it a special place in my heart. I have three save files, one of which is 112%, numerous fanart doodles in my sketchbooks, and even a few original characters. By far, Hollow Knight is my absolute favorite indie game, and I doubt I will ever experience anything like it again. I would like to express my gratitude to you, Ezonater, and the people in this comment section, for bringing this game to my attention and allowing me to begin my journey through Hallownest. I'm very sad to see that most of your video game mixes have been taken down from your channel, but please know that videos like these have left a tangible impact on my life. Thank you.
