Yess I did it! I relaxed my 4c hair after being natural for so long. Since this was a virgin relaxer I decided to get it done by a professional stylist and I do not regret doing this! Now my hair is way more manageable and I’m so happy about that. It’s time to start my healthy relaxed hair journey until I decide that it’s time for a new look.
I’ll be sure to update you guys with the products i use on my relaxed hair in another video :) but for now thanks for watching !

White women and asian women do had permed to their hair but when a black woman does the same it because the topic in the black community To be white and asian women understand their beauty standard perfectly than us black women I dont see anything wrong when a black woman relax her hair tk be more manageable Yall wear straight wigs right so why cant she starighy her natural hair with chemicals without people talking about it I have a relax hair and i love both my black women with relax and natural kinky hair . Yes relaxed ! That’s what a relaxer does to the hair straighten it out. As far as product, ORS Olive oil full application relaxer.

I thought a "relaxer" made curly hair still curly but the curls bigger. Less tight. Thats what "relaxed" means to me. @@najaasway

⁠@@CHANTARELLAyou’re thinking about a texturizer, which essentially loosens the curl pattern. You’ll still have the curls, but they are more loosened. Maybe that’s the “big curls” you are referring to. A relaxer, which is the method she used, straightens the hair. As a black woman who has had both methods done, that’s what it means us.

The stylist should never comb relaxer through your hair, only smooth it with the back of the comb. The teeth of the comb unnecessarily pulls hair out and makes the scalp sensitive. The results are gorgeous though, welcome to the relaxed side 🙌
