@@plohish1337 In the lore of Dune Atreides and Sardaukar are meant to be fairly equal in combat capability, I can't remember who was better but they were similar level, both some of the best warriors in the Imperium. Fremen however floored both, thats kind of why we see that Sardaukar get shredded the whole time.

The audio doesn't match the lyrics, though yes, you have pasted the correct lyrics as were released in the movie's script. Hans Zimmer revealed somewhere that he edited the chant to change the position of all the syllables which is why it sounds so disjoint.

The absolutely bungled idea of using shortswords and swords and only those for combat. Where are the shields and every other melee weapon if melee is the only viable opti0n??? The way those scifi shields work is absolutely stupid and looks even more stupid. And the combat coreography. Omg that is something that mademe lose interest in the movie. Horrible, unrealistic and absolutely cringe combat coreography. The pre existing world and universe was cool. The scenery was cool, but kinda thats it.

That's cool but capra is pretty easy once you realize you only have to immediately run and roll to dodge the dogs. The fight is defined in the first 4-8 seconds. The only hard part is dodging the first hit of each dog and sometimes the leaping attack of the capra demon itself. Then you just confidently run up the stairs and win.

@@MayakranProbably has something to do with the idea that faith keeps people alive, something the Sardaukar understand better than anyone. Davis Villeneuve is clearly fascinated by that idea. I think people with faith like the Sardaukar and the southern Fremen are more sensitive to the "race consciousness" Frank Herbert liked to bring up so much, more attuned to the gene-pattern of humanity telling them that there needs to be another great war... and dreams are one way it communicates to people.
