Relaxing Semi-Modular Music - Moog Sound Studio 3 [Patch Notes in Description]

First upload jamming on the Sound Studio 3. This patch is a ton of fun. My focus was to go for something atmospheric that I could build over time by riding the filter cutoff and utilizing external effects.
First, the SubH is in XOR mode. I found some pleasing intervals and ran with it. Master clock is derived from the M32. Slowly opening the filter of the song and just letting the synth feed into the Meris Mercury X "Deep Blue" preset was more than enough for me.
The DFAM has a glitchy beat running into the Hologram Chroma Console. The pedal is providing some tasty saturation, a tape delay, and pretty heavy compression. You'll occasionally hear me "play" the delay by maxing the feedback and sending it into self-oscillation.
The Mother 32 on the audio side is providing texture. You'll barely hear it until I start playing with the ratcheting live. Seq2 from the SubH is providing pitch information.
One final trick. I ran one of the sub oscillators from the SubH through the VC Mix on the M32 (acting as an attenuator) and patched it back into the SubH VCA. You'll hear some nice audio rate VCA modulation when I go for this knob.

DFAM: Trigger - to SubH: Clock In
Next, that sweet audio rate VCA modulation.
SubH: VCO1 Sub 2 Out - to M32: Mix2 In
M32: VC Mix Out - to SubH: VCA In
SubH plays the M32.
SubH: Seq 2 Out - to M32: VCO 1v/Oct In
Rest of the M32 Patching.
M32: KB Out - to M32: VCF Cutoff In
M32: VCO Sq Out - to M32: External Audio In

Man, this is tremendous! Kudos for providing the patch notes as well… I’m liking the idea of using the sub out to provide AM to the VCA, I’ll have to try that. Good stuff, a new sub here for thee, peace!

So much fun to have with 'just' these three. Might i ask what you mean with having the Subh in XOR mode?

Totally agree and of course! So if you have more than one rhythm generator assigned to a sequencer, XOR mode makes it to where the sequencer only recognizes a trigger if its coming from one and ONLY one of the rhythm generators (so if both rhythm generators send a trigger at the same time, the sequencer ignores it). In my opinion, its much easier to get fun and interesting poly rhythms going with this mode on, and you can only turn it on by sending a MIDI CC 113 value in the 64-127 range. Hope that helps! I'm not the best at explaining technical synth lingo :)
