did the exercises, they do help, Especially shaking the arm together and doing the oooo sound. Another very good exercise is, to put your Arms down by your sides and shrug your shoulders up and down quite Vigorously for as long as you can, this will loosen the muscles in the lower part of the neck. Thanks Julian

Just found your channel and am amazed that there are so many people who have this. Thank you for addressing this with help and tips. I've had tinnitus since I can remember. As a 4 year old, I climbed up on my mother's lap and put my ear against hers, and asked her if she could hear the ringing in my ear. She didn't know what I was talking about, and it really didn't bother me, because I just thought everyone had it. I found out later that my dad had ringing in his ears, but was thought to be from the war (WWII), or his job as a machinist. The first time being put to sleep under ether for a tooth removal at the age of 7, the ringing dramatically increased while going under. After that, I used to "play" with it, and concentrate on it and try and see how loud it would get. It would increase in sound to the point where I could hardly hear "outside" sounds. Over the years, I ignored it to the point of never hearing it, until in my 30s, I needed a sound machine to drown it out while falling asleep. Recently, after a 4 year period of extreme stress, I became aware of it gradually increasing in sound on it's own and not being able to ignore it anymore. It's constant. Several months ago I started wearing a laser helmet and taking supplements for hair loss, and was wondering if that could be the reason. Do you have any information regarding medications or vitamins/supplements that may contribute to tinnitus? Thank you for your valuable contribution of help and awareness.

Dude If I can get rid of my tinnitus I'll make a song for you :) I'm a musician I play all instruments, drums, bass, harmonica, piano and I sing :) The only reason my health is bad, is because I got forced to have problems in my life related to the actions or behaviour of my family... I trust you, I can tell you're a good person and reliable (in my opinion) judging by what you say, how you express yourself just generally your character really :P You have a pretty rad looking beard aswell, just thought id throw that in lol xD So hopefully listening your advice daily will get me somewhere! Thank you Julian ^_^

Andi plan to help a lot of people in my future for free aswell :) I don't have an ego, I'm extremely calm and patient and so anything that can be solved is easy for me... The only problems in my life are the ones I don't know how to solve... Like Tinnitus, but I'm starting to get some clues :P

I have a feeling my tinnitus is the result of grinding my teeth during sleep especially while dreaming, my dentist has advised a while ago to use a dental guard, what is your opinion on them as this was not mention in this video, I have had Tinnitus for 3 months, it has gone from bad to mild,I am trying to figure out the pattern as many days it is none existent. I also agree with your other talks relating to stress management and the nervous system, as I have also had a very stressful run of things in the past 2 years, I believe my body is alerting me now when I am stressed and not aware of it, I especially agree with your recent post regarding Impatience as I put a lot of demands on myself. Thank you for providing this information, and sharing your experience, I have also purchased your book and look forward to the read.

Julian, thank you for this video. I did the massaging exercises you recommend, and my tinnitus got a bit worse. I don’t think it’s anything to worry about, but it’s interesting, because the massaging has obviously impacted the ringing. But, I’m wondering, is that actually a sign that I should keep going with these exercises? Or should I see a TMJ massage therapist?

Watching this for he first time. The ringing in my right ear gets much louder when I clench my teeth. My dentist says there is no problem with my wisdom teeth. I do have a small lower jaw I was told by my anaesthetist who could not intubate me, pried my jaws open and damaged the trigeminal nerve. Could not taste food for weeks and could not bite. I am wondering if my tinnitus is linked to jaw issues. Plus I do grind my teeth in my sleep. Used to wear a mouth guard but gave up as my jaws were hurting

I've been suffering with tinnitus since I was a child now I'm 23 and just realizing how much my jaw is connected to my tinnitus... since I've realized that, I pay alot more attention to my jaw and it bugs me almost 24/7....of course the tinnitus comes along with all that pain. my tinnitus is ongoing(nonstop). but at times I get the high spike hits and if I'd have to describe how it sounds, it actually sounds like the tool that dentists use to drill your tooth but I hear and feel an intense shoot to my ear hitting my head. I've got a Lotta nerve and muscle pain throughout my body and I'm not sure if it has to do with my tinnitus... can you give me any advice on how to deal with not clenching my jaw and how to cope with this? it makes me sad and weak most days..
