I know how you feel is hot 🥵 where I live too. I grew so many fruits trees to keep my house cool and at the same time I can have fresh fruits. I don’t have a lot of space in my garden 🪴 so I grow my vegetables in the containers and work very well. I am so happy and honored that I can help you in many ways. Thank you for sharing your beautiful gardens with us. You have truly inspired me to create something beautiful at my home. I live in Northern California, and it's always incredibly hot from June through September, so I am always looking for ideas for plants and trees that can survive in this weather. I planted lantana last year and even that has died due to the heat. I would like to plant fruit and vegetables in containers, but I'm afraid because we have a problem with rats in my city. Do you have any recommendations for plants in hot weather and also for how to do container gardening while keeping rats away? Thank you so much for creating beauty!

I’m apologizing for getting back with you late. You can grow any fruit trees just make sure they’re grown in your zone. I prefer to plant fruit trees between fall and winter. Here in Southern California at Home Depot start selling barefoot fruit trees right after Christmas and best to plant them. You can grow vegetables in the pot and since is so hot 🥵 between June through September I water in the evening and in August I water early morning and evening when the temperature over 100. There’s plants that help with rat like daffodils, lavender, chrysanthemum marigold and many more. You can google plants that repel rats or bugs. Once again sorry I get back a little late.
