​@@nikunikuma I have been there, and the only thing i can say is that it gets better with time. Fill your life with things that make you smile and with the time that pain will slowly go away. It is hard, i know, there are many days that you will fell lonely and there will be only sadness and pain, but that suffering is inevitable. Smile, try to be selfish a little bit and work with your own mental health, you don't need other people for that. And yeah, the memories always stays, and they hurt for a while and slowly the pain in those memories goes away. After a year im still single and with Covid-19 im more lonely than ever i think, there are days that are pretty difficult for me, but life continues and that is a good thing! sorry for the bad grammar, english is my 3rd language :(

@FLS306 yep, i just wish that because this was made in april that it was just some harsh april fools joke but it isnt and i dont think ill ever be able to fill that void in my/our hearts that kaori left. But alas shes bot coming back and thats the reality of life, if there is nothing that pains you in this world then you wouldnt learn to love and cherish what you have before its gone... Im never forgetring this anime because it connects to me in a lot of angles, and thats kinda scary, as if this anime was made just for me (i know its not) i play the piano and i had a falling out with it and started playing it again mud way through the show, there is a person in my life that i didnt realize id loved for 2 years now, but the part where this show and my life disconnect is that that girl likes my friend and shes pretty much leagues away from me. And i dont think i can change that and even if i could it doesnt matter cause this is my last year with her, im moving away soon and it pains me man, but you just gotta keep pushing through. Here is the full letter that Kaori wrote in case you guys miss some parts or want to read it again: Dear Arima Kousei, It feels weird writing a letter to someone you were just with… You’re the worst. Indecisive. Gullible. Twit. The first time I ever saw you perform, I was 5 years old. It was at a recital for the piano school I was going to. This awkward, clumsy kid came onto the stage and accidentally hit the piano stool with his butt. It was too funny. ​@@pinheadlarry2506 Yeah, I Also recommend "Rascal Does not dream of bunny girl senpai" the anime itself is pretty shit except the beginning but then watch "Rascal does not dream of a dreaming girl" now this movie is a sequel to the anime but I don't even know why it made me cry almost as much as watching "Your Lie in April". This show is so so so underrated and people who hear the title are just like "Ah, thats another shitty harem anime" but the anime and movie itself were one of the better written drama's i have recently watched. Its incredible how many feelings an anime can transmit you. The joy, the sadness, the hope and even the pasion of music. That feeling that we cant even explain when we hear the soundtrack or we watch the show. You know, there's something I've realized. The more effort you put in, the more you are living your life to the fullest. Obviously, I don't know the exact ratio, I definitely don't think it's 1:1. Have you done a chore, or followed a schedule you made to get back on track and take hold of your life? Are you trying? Or have you been putting off homework and procrastinating because it feels so hard to simply 'get to work'? Or have you been saying 'next time', 'later', 'in a bit' to everything? Or have you been looking at social media, reading books, watching anime, and playing games all day... not because you're a slob but because it's a way for you to escape reality, and thus your responsibilities? Let's stop for a moment. I'll stop drilling in to you now haha. Alright. Lean back in your chair, your bed, your couch, your what have you. Basically, I'm just asking for you to get comfy. The death part is cliche but the whole story is certainly not especially the plot twist in her letter. It really caught me off guard even tho i knew she like him from the start but not at that level of admiration. That is why YLIA stands out when it comes to drama and stayed at the heart of viewers.

there is nothing wrong with cliche. I am someone who believes that fact something is cliche because it has stood the test of time. People today always want to see something unique, and while that has pushed for some amazing new inventions, that doesn't mean the ideas that were good for ages and still are should be left out. Everything is about execution and as long as it's done well, anything can be amazing, let alone ideas abt love, redemption, scrafice that should strike home with most people.

When I first listened to this, while doing homework, I was actually pretty happy and calm, but after I got a chance to read some comments I got to see others’ memories of this. That’s what makes me cry, remembering other people, just like me, and their memories that are tied to this music. im glad that im able to watch Your Lie In April for the first time and realize that its april when i start watching it this year,the story is amazing and it really catch my feeling,the music itself its great i fell in love with it,i actually upset with the ending of the anime,about Kaori's lies saying her illness is nothing and how she lied about her feeling for Watari but she actually love Kousei,as soon as the scene where Kousei read Kaori's letter to him,my tears start flowing down my cheek, im guessing other people here has the same feeling as me rn :( i would love to watch this anime again on april next year.

Sao and your lie in april are my two fav shows because they both impacted my life so much. Sao taught me to find the people you love the most and spend time with them, whereas your lie in april taught me to live life to the fullest and not take anything for granted because it could be taken away from you at any moment. From a young age I forced myself to train and workout until I coughed up blood and I had to go to the doctor a lot bu that didn't stop me because I thought the only way to make friends would be if I was very strong and athletic. But, ever since I watched these two shows I have stopped and noticed the deeper meaning of life and as you could say I saw color for the first time, so please know that even if you feel no one loves you, remember I love you even if we have met yet I know we could be friends.

A friend of mine, or used to be a friend of mine told me to watch this anime (Your Lie in April). On the first 2 episodes I didn’t really enjoy it and quit but about one week later I decided to finish the anime and I did. I got addicted to this anime because it was just relaxing and sad at the same time. The ending had me tear up a lot and I will never forget that moment and my moment as an anime fan/watcher. Unfortunately I quit watching anime but those memories will always stay in my heart until I die ❤️
