I have a theory! We hear the lightning strike in the audio clip. Also a splashing and roar. Nobody knows how the aircraft carrier at E (correct me if that is not the flag!) Got broken into two, it gets often overlooked. Perhaps at the same time as the lightning strike in a conquest game, the kraken or whatever monster it is comes out of the water between the two broken carrier pieces! Just a theory, but it seems like a likely location! What does everyone think?

Battlefield is a community heavy game. So Eastereggs that require a lot of teamwork, timing, and a lot of community effort to achieve are a must. It wouldn't be as fun if it wasn't that complex. So sharing is needed, and I never felt like something was spoiled to me, because I never could have found the Megalodon by myself. I do however think that in single player games, like most indies, it wouldn't fit to do things like this. There is no connection between players, and spoiling it on games like that can really be annoying, because you could have found out yourself. That's my thoughts, see you next time!

Kind of sounds like the monster is either jumping out of the water on one of the big ships and crashing it or the ship hitting the monster as it is about to shore on the island as it happens with the levolution. That's what I made out of the sounds, that roar though is just, ohhh goosebumps.

Hey Westie when you played the sound files while the Paracel Storm vid was in the background, I got a very good idea to attempt to find the Easter Egg. You know all of the ships in the background of the map and the ship you can go on, maybe to trigger the Easter Egg you need to go on all of the ships and find something that explodes which makes those sounds before the Kraken sound. But maybe you had to trigger each explosion at the same time. Also on the other ships you would have to use a helicopter or boat to get their, then you have ten seconds to trigger it. From there it would trigger the Easter Egg. It's just a thought. Keep up the great work Westie and hopefully this helps in the search for the Kraken

Maybe it's something to do with the wind turbines once the storm starts, the lightning strikes the turbine for the levolution. Maybe there's three buttons somewhere that activate lightning strikes to call upon the beast. (Wild speculation)

I like your sentiments on that 'debate'. I mean, if you want to find the big BF4 easter eggs, get involved with the group search. The group search is what got me excited for the Phantom Project installments. I mean, they're so cool and you need a community of people to do it because you need brains that think differently. Does anyone remember the ridiculous amount of teamwork-based glitching on Halo 2 when it was released? That wasn't private, but it was great fun and super rewarding. To me, the suggestion that easter eggs should be privatized sounds more like a.. suggestion to make them more convenient or easier to find. Think about it this way- why does launching a nuke always look so cool in the movies? Because it requires the power of two people turning keys at the same time.

That roar is from the Easter egg from paracel storm map,how you make that roar happen is when you go to that paracel storm map and you activate the UFO and if you look at the UFO it's using the search light it's either looking for something and the search light turns off and the UFO falls in the ocean when the earthquake stops the megaladon jumps over the destroyed boat and roars 2 times and that what makes that sound how did I know that just watch a video

I heard those sounds before except for the kraken one, How I activated the sounds was I was fooling around on paracel storm. Release the ship and wait for the storm to come, then try and destroy another turbine, or wait and see if lighting hits a turbine multiple times.. I managed to get that far but no kraken, hopefully others have better luck.

Don't know if this is related or not, but on the Test Range (pretty much similar to Paracel) there's a small glitched "island" with a sort of sharp shape. Its texture is nothing I've ever seen in the game, somehow they might be related. Its out of bounds but with a jet one can get there.

Hey westie. Just an idea but in that last clip you hear seaguls quacking(?) And flying away, this makes me feel like you can only trigger the easter egg while the ships in motion because of the lighntning. So once the ship is free from the wind turbine the team at C get 20 to 30 seconds(time it takes the ship to travel I think) to activate the kraken/easter egg to save their lives as well as C? If you think about it it all lines up and it is tempary levolution to levolution. Whats your thoughts? I would really like to know.

Apparently the triggers are locked server side, that's why no one has found anything. But regardless, @jjju on Twitter has said, all assets regarding the monster are being removed. So...no more monster. Look it up if you don't believe it.

Friend showed me a Screenshot he took a while ago.. It is dark and Rainy (I guess,he took the picture with his smartphone) and you can see the "player" swimming at some point in the Water and a few kilometers above him there is some kind of flying ship,never seen this in BF4 before. I Asked hom to make it public or show this to others but he does not want to. Maybe it is even fake,i dont know Maybe it helps but im not sure if this was paracel storm ..

Regarding those sound files I'd say it's probably a good bet that the kraken / monster will show up when the storm kicks in on Paracel Storm - those first few files sounded like cracks of thunder and lightning so I am thinking perhaps it becomes active when the storm is raging and can possibly be triggered only whilst the storm is ongoing? It wouldn't make much sense to have thunder and lightning files linked to the kraken / monster if it can be triggered at any stage (e.g. whilst the storm is yet to break). Might have to jump on a paracel storm server now and wonder around for a few hours lol! I heard as well that the code the soundfiles refer to may be specific to the Rush gamemode so I'm thinking it'll be gamemode specific and timed to coincide with the storm...now, how to activate it! XD

There's this weird rock on Paracel Storm that I saw a WHILE back, its at the top point of the map, if you stand at the very top point of the map and look North East you'll see a mountain, fly towards the mountain, in the water very close to the mountain there is this Sharp Object sticking out of the water, I don't know what it is, at first when I saw it I taught it was a fossilised megalodon :P
