Hi, just installed this on my Juki DU1181n. Save yourself a bit of adjustment time by cranking your wheel into the 'needle up' position BEFORE you first add the synchronizer. You'll only need to push some buttons to set it needle down. You're welcome.

Could you do a video about the “F Modes” N5 and N6? Reliable manual shows how to change them. I don’t understand what it’s changing, but hoping it’s for altering the acceleration. Barley pushing the pedal, the Sewquiet 6000 can get twitchy with very little pedal input. Is there anyway to extend the pedal throw between slow to fast speed? Great videos and extremely appreciated!

If you heel back on the treadle will it lift the needle up if it's set to set the needle down when stopped

Hi from Canada, Steve... excellent video and very timely for me. I've learned way more in the 10+ minutes of watching than in hours of surfing spread over weeks and months. Thanks for doing the work for us that Reliable should be doing themselves. Sensing your willingness to help, I wonder if you can confirm one point for me: I've read elsewhere that the 6000SM Synchronizer won't work on old Pfaff machines like my 545-H3. From your video, the only real problem that I can see for my Pfaff is obtaining one M7-1.0 screw of the correct style and length; that's the size of threads tapped into my Pfaff 545-H3's shaft. But have I really got this correct? Your comments one way or the other will be much appreciated! Fabricating an elegant holding bracket for the Synchronizer will be a pain but is not at all insurmountable. I haven't heard back from Reliable on my inquiries yet but am disappointed that the technical information required to make good decisions is so hard to obtain... they don't seem to care that many others like me would really like to buy their products.

Hi Gary, I do not have any Pfaff 545 in my shop right now. Next time I get one in for repair I can try a few of the synchronizer adapter screws and let you know. The synchronizers come with an adapter and 2 different screws to match most machines.

@@Sewinggold Thanks for the reply, Steve! I was able to re-thread the smaller size screw from the M9-0.9 pattern it had to the M7-1.0 pattern that my Pfaff 545-H3 uses... no problems!

If I already have a factory synchronizer connected to my pulley wheel are the four pin plug connectors universal fits and IYO is it more or less likely to work?
@Sewinggold3 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately I can not answer that. I have never tried another brands synchronizer with our 6000SM servo motor.

Is there a video installing this synchronizer on a Juki 1541S?

I just picked up a Juki 1541s that I will be using to sew some 4-5oz leather. It has a SewQuiet 5000 now, and it doesn’t really have the torque for getting going on the leather. In your opinion would the 6000 have the extra torque needed?
@Sewinggold2 жыл бұрын
The SewQuiet 5000 was similar to the Enduro servo motors. They did not work well on heavy duty machines and tend to stall. We would install them on the Juki DDL-8700. The 6000SM will be better. You may also want to look into getting a 750W servo motor. I think Consew makes one.

@@Sewinggold I just purchased the Consew 750w Servo Motor and a 45mm pulley. My SewQuiet 5000 had a 90mm pulley, that probably didn’t help it’s lack of punching power. Will see how the 1HP Consew does, and if that can’t do it, a box style speed reduced is on deck.

If you press the pedal with your heel, the needle position should be reversed once. If the needle was at the bottom, it will rise once.

This is not an advertised feature and does not work on all of the 6000SM motors.
