My pack always ends up being over 50lbs too. I like to carry actual food on short BB trips. Frozen solid steak, eggs, hash, bacon, sausages, etc. Lightest food I'll carry is probably ramen. 😅😅 On longer trips, I'll carry freeze-dried food. Oh yea, and always liqour. 😂

Lol. You're a beast!! 50lbs and my body starts hurting. 😅 Those food does make camping a lot better! Can't forget the ramen haha. Steak and bacon 🔥🔥

Yep absolutely! You can do this as a day hike, more on moderate side tho.
