Hi Eric, didn't catch if you mentioned it in the video, but any camp related reason why you had to change to a 1 nighter? Wasn't sure if it was because there was a limit of how many nights you can stay at Bear Lake?

Yes, from my understanding, it's only a 1 night limit at bear lake, but who knows.. maybe they've changed it. No camp related reason. The reason was, we planned to hike to another lake the nexg day, but a few of us wasn't feeling too well. So we called a last minute change up.

Hey Eric. I'm planning on heading to that trail in a few weeks. Curious what you did for food storage? did you have a bear canister (website says not required), did you hang your food, or just leave it in your pack? Thanks for the help!!

It's gonna be an awesome trip! I used a bear bag on this trip and I did hang it up. Yeah, canisters aren't required but I've also been here a few other times and haved used a canister. Whichever you're comfortable with. Thanks for watching and enjoy your trip! 🙌🏼
