Fun fact about the advent of Hinduism is Assam:- 😃❤️ Most of the Hindus in Assam belongs to the Ekasarana sect of Vaisnavism which is the dominant faith of the region since its formation from 15th-16th century in Brahmaputra Valley, Assam. The Ahom kings during their 600 yrs rule in Assam, have increasingly patronizing Hinduism alongside the proselytizing activities of Ekasarana Dharma since the 16th-century-a large section of the Bodo-Kachari people converted to different forms of Hinduism in the 17th-18th century and a composite Assamese consisting of caste-Hindus, tribals began to form. Suhunmung , was the first Ahom king who have converted into Hinduism and adopt a Hindu title, Swarganarayana during that medieval period of ahom rule.

Don't worry we are safe. Still we avoid Muslim areas in our state. We did try to chase away the Muslim population in 1980s which ended in Nellie Massacre where 3000 Muslims were killed by tribal Hindus. In 1901 Goalpara had 27% Muslim now it has 70%+. These are immigrants from Bangladesh. Just a few days ago protests erupted in Upper Assam demanding deportation of Bengali Muslims after the rape of a minor girl by a Muslim man in Dhing, Nagaon district. In old times when there were lack of toilets in rural areas and women went out to pee outside, these immigrants would abduct them. Till today when victims of floods sleep outside, a male is guarding them as nobody knows when these Muslims would come and take away the women. There is no conversation but actually immigration of outsiders and polygamy. But our CM recently banned polygamy. He has also banned the 2 hour Namaz break in Assam Legislative Assembly. He also addressed the rising population of Muslims in the state. These Muslims have the support of Bengalis and so they are successfully growing but if we start taking strict action against them then there is a chance when finally all Bengali Muslims would be deported.

You can notice an interesting trend among the North-Eastern Indian states, namely the sharp decrease of Hinduism.
